I've been doing an international travel/hiking show for two years called ADAM WALKS AROUND. While stuck in Los Angeles on lockdown in 2020, I spent several months putting together a show centered around MST3K film locations. The show is now up! youtu.be/sXhFJ_Oc0AUEAT, Club Scum, and the Coleman Francis Airport are among the more than 15 film locations explored in the show...along with original music, surprise special guests, new research and "historical re-enactments." Tongue is planted firmly in cheek throughout. Give it a look and let me know what do you think, sirs?

Good research on this and loved seeing what all the locations look like now. That said let's pour one out for Eat. RIP

Great fun - loved the Dead Talk Back bits - I learned that the film featured teleportation for one. Plus, the info about the actress was interesting, how'd you find her son?

Thanks all for watching. I really made it with a heart out for other MSTies out there.
Interesting thing about EAT...the big dumpster trailer on the site has been there a loooong time according to aerial photographs...might it contain the remnants of the cafe?
Re: The Dead Talk Back and Laura Brock's son. He happened to be one of my FB friends (fan of my old band) and mentioned it at one point. I flagged it for future reference. Fun fact is we both live overseas but we both happened to be in the U.S. for lockdown (last time we had met was in Manila).
Other fun fact: Mike Schnee, who was my foil throughout, really is related to Abby from Riding With Death, though she is actually his cousin and not his aunt. I actually once got into a heated political debate with said relative on the Book of Face.
Nobody yet has mentioned the first requestor, which has me wondering if people recognized him or not? (The second might be too obscure for people to pick up on)

I actually once got into a heated political debate with said relative on the Book of Face. It kills me that Katherine Crawford has a personal Facebook page. Makes me wonder which other MST3k performers also have social media pages. When I was researching backgrounds on actors to find pictures for the last monthly contest I ran here, I ran across the personal Facebook page of an actor from one of the movies. It was just like a timeline of a friend or family member of yours who uses Facebook pretty often. You know, pictures of family, pets, places they've been, pictures of house renovations, parties they've been to, etc. It was really remarkable to find an intimate look into the life of someone whose connection to me is only that they had been in one truly atrocious movie I watched. Again, it wasn't a fan page. It was a personal page, with a significant amount of the timeline and photographs labeled public, so some dumbass like me could blunder over it. And it was so ordinary it could have been mistaken for one of my cousins' or my stepsister's Facebook page. There wasn't even any indication that the person had ever been an actor. I almost immediately realized I couldn't share any of the photographs, because even though they were all marked as available to the public, sharing them really would have felt like an invasion of the actor's privacy.

He doesn't tweet much, but his last major activity was after the election where he was retweeting a bunch of voter fraud articles. Turns out Archie is quite the MAGA fan.

Yeah! Absolutely. I was Arch Hall Jr's friend on FB for awhile. Yep, he's quite the right winger. I'm fairly politically tolerant but when he started viciously bashing Greta Thundberg I got off that train. I also was FB friends with Selene Hedin (the "man's woman" from BOGGY CREEK) for awhile, but kept a respectful distance. That was pleasant enough. I think those were the only two people I ever hit up on FB but yeah, they are surprisingly accessible and as long as things stay respectful it seems to be okay.
KC and I got into it just post-'16 election and it was quite a battle. Apparently she's a bit of a terror in her family for her forcefully expressed political views and I heard later that I'd been silently cheered on by a lot of them who had stayed silent for keeping the peace. Whatever the truth of it, having a brutal FB back and forth with Abby was a very surreal moment.
Having her rather brilliant cousin help me on as a foil for this show really was great. He is an old bad movie fan but not an MST3K fan, however he was a good sport and even went along with me making him role play Tony Cardoza.

Was slightly crestfallen that Riverside International Raceway, where the racing scenes from Riding With Death were filmed weren't part of it but I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the video. Viva Eat!

Up until a couple years ago, Nina Axelrod, who played Ben Murphy's graduate assistant in Being From Another Planet, was pretty active on Twitter. Not sure why she stopped, but apparently it's not bad news.
I also found Travis Brooks Stewart (Sister Vehicular Homicide) on Twitter, but for some reason I couldn't find her handle when I looked for it just now. I seem to remember it being pretty much something to promote her current workplace more than anything.
Also, if you guys would like, once I'm allowed to travel again in the middle of this pandemic, I can certainly post pictures of the location shoots for the utopian future from Time Chasers.

I can't believe I forgot to post my gratitude for this. Amazing find, Adam! Thank you for sharing! Girl in Gold Boots is my favorite MST3K and I've always wondered where Eat was located, so I really appreciate this! Was the convenient store that Buzz and Michelle stopped at (where they meet the bikers and Buzz bought nothing but napkins) in the general area as well?
