^^^ Speaking of The Beatles, are you going to be able see The Beatles: Get Back documentary? I knew about it, of course, but I only just learned it would be streaming on Disney+ over Thanksgiving weekend. I've had Disney+ for almost two years, and I put it on my watchlist right away. I don't know if it'll still be streaming after that weekend, but hopefully it'll hang around for awhile.

Oh really, thats perfect timing, I was waiting for Hawkeye's release in late Nov to sign up and then binge on Marvel series for a month, but now I'll have the Beatles to look forward to.
I'll have to see if Get Back will have an extended run through Dec, If so I'll sign up Dec 1st (Hawkeye's last ep will air late Dec)

A couple articles I found state that it'll only be on that weekend, but who knows if that's true or if that will change. I'll keep checking. It'll be three approximately 2-hour episodes, one premiering each day from November 25-27. And if you do get Disney+, make sure to check out Hamilton. I've probably watched it at least a hundred times by now, and that's not exaggerating.

I've got Hamilton in my watchlist, so I'll check it out for sure. (I also have The Boys and Science Fair lined up)
Hopefully, we'll get more scheduling details about Get Back, I looked around, but they all just focus on the weekend premieres and that's it.

Hamilton is easier to follow at first if you turn on the closed-captions. Otherwise as fast as the delivery can be it's easy to miss something.

Recent blog updates - The Mads Night of Shorts 5 and Rifftrax 'just the jokes' GymkataI don't do regular Rifftrax write-ups anymore, because of late, they are either just ok, or pretty weak. But Gymkata was funny. I know I'm not alone in this, but it's one I've long, long wanted to see riffed - so I had high hopes and it didn't disappoint. And honestly, it wasn't a horrible movie (I saw it in the '80s on cable TV, maybe HBO), a bit dumb, but a lot of martial arts movies are a bit dumb or absurd. Now, I'm not proclaiming it an "Enter The Dragon' type classic, but it entertained.

* I forgot all about Manos when doing the run-through MSTs movie music, so I just added a few notes and a video... forrestcrow.proboards.com/post/1174504/thread* Updated pages for the Mads ( Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women) and Bridget and Mary Jo ( Teenage Space Vampires) * Looks like the new season and the Gizmoplex will debut next March, which is cool, since it's my site's anniversary - that'll give me something to write about (and I hope it's all positives) - the opening film will be "SANTO In The Treasure of Dracula" (1969), which sounds like a kick. The movie line-up is solid and includes a KTMA re-do. Aside from the return of Gamera, the movie I'm most thrilled about is "The Batwoman". They have intros and trailers here... kickstarter.mst3k.com/season13

More updates... The Mads redo of Manos (I think Trace and Chris were a bit too kind at the end... it's not a good movie - you can argue whether it's the baddest of the bad (I think there are worse), but it aint good, and I don't think MST were too harsh in their riffing) Bridget and Mary Jo cover another MHC movie... He Sees You When Your SleepingOh, and I ordered the book, too

Blog Updates: A few thoughts on the 5th episode of the Mary Jo Pehl Show - I'm afraid I wasn't too into it. Thankfully I wasn't a complete Grinch this season, as I felt Mike, Kevin and Bill released their funniest trax of the year... Dancin' - It's On!👍 So, with the year coming to a close, here's a list of my favorite feature length riffs of 2021 The Mads: The Lost Missile - a watchable movie, on the receiving end of some razor-sharp quipping - 2nd place goes to The Brain Eaters Mike, Kevin & Bill: Dancin' - It's On! - yup, just reviewed this one and it's the best main Rifftrax release in a while. Runners up: Gumby & Mirror, Mirror Matthew & Ian: The Veil - this Boris Karloff anthology series was released in 2 parts, it's one of Britrax very best. Bridget & Mary Jo - This is tough because the Mary Higgins Clark trilogy was incredible, but they also did quick work on the crappy WW84, which was probably even more impressive because it was such a long, very long bad movie. They deserved hazard pay for that one. But I'll go with the first MHC release Lucky DayTo top that off we are getting a 13th season of MST3K. This marks the first time I contributed to a Kickstarter campaign, so that was exciting. The most enjoyable part of that was probably The Hobgoblins, livestream watch-a-long, with Joel, Emily, Yvonne, Conor, and Nate, which you can still watch, here... www.youtube.com/watch?v=hugO9coWrw0So that's that. Happy (soon to be) New Year everybody. Here's to a better, brighter 2022 🎉

First Blog update of the new year, brings a brand new page.... "The Best of Rifftrax: 2021 to Current", which will be for my recent favorites from MK&B, first up... Fugitive RageSpeaking of funny, the Mads recent Livestream had some technical issues, but still wound up a success. My brief write-up for, A Night of Shorts 6 I'm not reviewing shorts, but I did find Taking Care of Things worthwhile, very funny. Bridget and Mary Jo also open the new year with a short about kids who do what the title says ( Play in the Snow). Not the most riffable short, and they miss a few opportunities (like, they could have done Dudley Do-right every time you hear the name Nell) - still it has moments, like when the narrator says of a snowman... "Make the neck strong, so the head won't fall off" and Bridget responds... "Unlike Frosty, the French bourgeois" A little over a week later they gifted us with The Joy of Living with Fragrance - which is about a woman obsessed with making everything smell. This was much funnier than the Snow short.

I didn't catch Katherine Victor in Fugitive Rage. Maybe I have to give it another spin and pay closer attention.

She's the older, gun toting agent. The one who checks for weapons at the safe house (which is another thing that doesn't make sense... you check his gun, then give it back... so what was the point?) BTW - your blog gets blocked at my work (I read it at home just fine), I believe we are using the same blogger, and they don't block mine -- I was thinking, "what the hell, is he like swearing up a storm, or posting nude photos of Digger Smolkin - why are they blocking that page?" Course, I just quoted the "little bitch in prison" line, so maybe I'll be banned at work too. (No more scribbling out re-writes and adding pictures while on the job)

I do swear like a sailor on there, so maybe that's it. I try not to get too lewd though.

I don't recall ever seeing anything offensive enough to warrant a ban - but it cracks me up because I always forget. I'll click on the link, see the 'this page is blocked' thing and then get upset and yell at the computer... "What, oh come on it's just MST3K?"
