Hercules and the Captive Women film and episode on blu-ray

We've got Blu-ray sign! Another classic MST episode hit Blu-ray this week, Hercules and the Captive Women from The Film Detective includes the classic fourth season episode as a special feature. I knew this release was happening, but I didn't hear it included the MST episode until just now.

As usual, the MST episode is SD, while the unriffed film will be HD.

"Some folks have been salty at the inclusion of the MST3K episode, which amuses me, as the first place I saw this film or any peplum was on MST, and it's one of my favorite episodes. It's inclusion here is a botch-job, poorly upscaled to HD, and with the frame rate messed up, as if it were badly de-interlaced to 30fps and then re-interlaced to 60i. The motion during both the host segments and film segments are noticeably choppy."

The episodes usually don't look good on Blu-ray. The Brain That Wouldn't Die print has absurdly low contrast.
