I just got back from my humble little V.A. Clinic here in Salem, Oregon. I went with the Johnson & Johnson one shot deal. Don't have to go back for another. No extra limbs growing out of my forehead yet. Or anywhere else for that matter. Good to go for now..

Got my second one and so far I'm okay, not as sore or tired, the guy who gave the shot said I might feel a little queezy the following day, so I guess I'll see what's up tomorrow, but this dose was easier than the first to this point.

Yeah I had no side effects with mine. The worst I got was the next day it felt like my arm was getting pinched.

Got my second (Pfizer) dose a week and a half ago. Apart from my arm hurting like hell both times, no side effects. It seems different for everyone!

Got my first shot a couple hours ago. Felt a little like a mosquito bite with no itching. Not really sure how I can tell if I have fatigue or muscle aches since I have them most of the time anyway.

I went over the 2 week post vaccine window on Saturday. Now officially declared good to go. No real side effects at all with the Johnson & Johnson. Don't have to get a 2nd shot either. Yay!

Woke up today with a bit of a sore arm as well as some muscle aches and a little joint pain. Nothing major at this point and nothing that keeps me from functioning, although I'm glad I'm not working until Monday. Might not be side effects but probably are to some extent. As long as it doesn't get any worse not a big deal. No fever or anything right now. From what I read it just means the vaccine is working, so Yay?

I've noticed such a huge variety with side effects. My roommate and I both got Pfizer - my arm hurt both times but that was it. My roommate was super tired after her second dose but didn't have anything else. Meanwhile my coworker also got Pfizer and had to call out from work the day after her second dose because she had a fever and the chills.

Had both Pfizer jabs. The role out of Vaccines in the UK has been one of the few bright spots in the whole sorry business. I think we're some where around 32.5% fully vaccinated. Probably another 60% to do(ignoring the anti-vax halfwits).

Got my second shot this afternoon. So far so good, but I didn't feel any side effects after the first one until the next day. I got mine at our local Sam's Club. They have a white tent set up next to the pharmacy where people fill out the paperwork, get their temperature taken, and then wait for the 15 minutes after the shot. The shots themselves are given in a tiny cubicle between the tent and the pharmacy, and I had a different pharmacist give me each shot. I was the only one in the tent afterwards today so the lady in charge at the time spent most of my wait time talking to me. I didn't mind. She said the ones working the tent are some of the people who were giving food samples pre-COVID and that samples would be starting again pretty soon. She checked once to make sure I wasn't bleeding from the shot, and I wasn't. I barely had one drop of blood between the two shots. She did say that just yesterday there was a man who got his shot there and once his waiting period was over he went shopping in the store. About half-an-hour later he was back at the tent because blood was running down his arm from the injection site. They had to have the pharmacist come and clean him up. She said it's mainly been guys who bled a lot afterwards. Both times I was given a goody bag afterwards filled with little snacks, a small bottle of water, a small bottle of hand sanitizer (the two bottles do not look at all alike ), a couple lens wipes for eyeglasses which I can't use because of the coating on my lenses, and some samples of women's gummy vitamins. For the record, I had the Moderna vaccine.

Definitely feeling side effects today. I felt fine when I went to bed, but ever since I got up today I've felt like I was dragged by a truck. Same muscle aches and joint pain I had after the first one, only a bit worse. I took some of the recommended Tylenol almost three hours ago and they haven't kicked in. Hopefully it won't drag on for days. At least I don't go to work until Monday.

Now I can add chills to the list. I started shivering violently about three hours ago. No sneezing or anything to this point. Just the shivering. So it's almost 90 degrees outside and I'm in the house wrapped in an afghan I crocheted with the AC raised from 73 to 75 degrees. The shivering starts up again if I take off the afghan. Nice.

The shivering didn't last much past my last post. I was kind of fatigued for the rest of the day and had no appetite. I barely ate a thing all day, only half a Hot Pocket and one scoop of Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream. Today is better. Still have the muscle aches but I don't feel as weak so now I think it's safe to go to the basement to do laundry. I did venture into a small local grocery store today instead of the giant mega-mart I usually go to in the next town. Not sure I could have made it in the big store because the small one just about wore me out. I have eaten today but I couldn't finish the meal I usually finish with no problems. My arm is still sore but getting better. Still much better than getting a full-blown case of COVID. And once I'm past the two weeks I can go without a mask at work. There is one person there who is refusing to get the shot, and one other person actually quit over the mask policy. I guess that's their problem and not mine at this point.

On a somber note, I just learned that my aunt passed away today from COVID related causes. She had it and a heart attack almost a year ago and never completely bounced back.
