I've got 4 copies 3 from 1998 and the last one I've got was dated march 1999. I'm digitalizing my whole collection and I'll keep an eye out for it.

You mean the channel logo by "bug", right? I....don't remember. I wasn't really paying attention to the actual episode, just was watching for the commercials to skim through. LOL

You mean the channel logo by "bug", right? Yeah, I'm trying to complete fan restorations of all of the unreleased episodes, using DAP and other sources. But the SciFi channel episodes have the logo/bug, and "Deadly Bees" is especially bad because it actually covers up Crow. I think that if anybody can find a recording from 1999, rather than 1998, I should be able to use that to make a clean bugless copy of the whole episode.

Mine would definitely be the original recording, just based on it's airdate (May 1998) & when the first X-Files film was released in theaters (June 1998). There were multiple airings of a commercial for the film on my copy. And the video quality is...less than good. Kind of forgot how bad VHS recordings from TV could be back in the day.

Appreciated, thank you jedicrippler!

UPDATE: I tracked down a copy of the Cheepnis / Cheesyflix bootleg, and that had a suitable bug. This just leaves the season 8 episodes, hopefully a copy of the 1997 Turkey Day will turn up *and* will have the desired bug placement.
