In doing research for my website years ago, I found an interview with her, she said of Robot Monster that the Director was a first timer and didn't know what he was doing, so the 2 cinematographers helped him out a lot.
During the scene where she was abducted by Ro-Man, she was getting direction from 3 different people, all giving her different advice. The credited director then decides that he wants her to seduce the monster. She said that's why that whole scene was so odd, she goes from being terrified, defiant and a seductress due to all the direction she was getting at one time.
She had a good attitude about it, but she said it was too bad the producer and director didn't share that same sense of humor. They were very serious about the movie and were stung by the criticism.
From my blog...
Of interest: Claudia can also be seen playing "Lola", in the Jack Webb directed film, "The Last Time I Saw Archie". This is the movie that starred Robert Mitchum and was loosely based on the military exploits of Arch Hall Sr, known to MSTies as the director and star (Robert Miller) of Eegah.
Rest in peace Claudia
