Yeah, I'm in agreement on bumpers. They need SOMETHING between the host segment and "commercials" to differentiate.
It should be:
THEATER HALLWAY HOST SEGMENT BUMPER COMMERCIAL STRAIGHT INTO THE THEATER
Or
THEATER BUMPER COMMERCIAL HOST SEGMENT HALLWAY THEATER
Going: theater, hallway, host segment, commercial, host segment, hallway, theater like they've been doing is too many steps and in an awkward order,

The sponsor ads are part and parcel of independent production, same with most podcasts or other online ventures. They've just woven them in with the characters mid-show like the Golden Age of Television. I think that's endearing. And let's not forget that the show isn't a stranger to shilling products. Who could forget this timeless classic?

I need to see the experiment without the livestream additions, especially that bloated kitchen scene in the middle (really, they should have cut that in half, put the drink thing in an intermission in another episode), and with credits and stinger included, to judge how intrusive these ads are.
I like how Creature Features folds their sponsors into their shows - they have Mr. Livingston do a voiceover while images of product and logos are shown on screen. They also do their own self-promotional stuff, usually Livingston and Tangela doing a quick bit to try and sell us on becoming a patron. It's quick, isn't disruptive and blends in with the rest of show smoothly (the MST ads felt a little jarring, in the way they were thrown in there)
But again, I need to see the final cut, the DVD release version if you will, to get a grip on how I feel about the ads and how they fit into the flow of the show.

I hope the commercials won’t be in the physical copies.

well, during the sales skit, when Jonah wonders if he should push the button, GPC says it's an intermission sign, so I'm guessing the ads, but not the livestream kitchen sketch, will be part of the discs. I guess you could edit it, but with them going away and then returning to the SOL before movie sign, it would be an odd edit without something to cut away too.
They could do the moon with music thing, no commercial, as they do in the classic DVD releases, but still, an awkward transition.

Its the bifurcated Segment 3 that's the problem. Very awkward.

I hope the commercials won’t be in the physical copies. We already pointed out how the commercials wouldnt be in physical copies

I wouldn’t mind if the ads were somewhere on a disc as bonus features, but definitely not in the episodes themselves.

I'll be glad when the download is available. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long.

I was under the assumption it was supposed to be the Monday after. But they're probably still editing the end credits.

They’ve said we’re not getting downloads until the season is complete, but we’re supposed to get the streaming version today.

Its possible they may also be editing some of the shoddier-looking green screen stuff to improve the lighting and whatnot, like the Mads stuff.

i agree, give them more time to patch episodes. The livestreams should still be up.

Yeah, if a little more time improves things, I’m willing to wait.

might take a little longer as they are trying to figure out the sound level issues. There's something going on, but there doesn't seem to be a consensus among viewers about how severe it was.
