I'm not going to do a whole re-watch of the entire movie to see what was cut out... But I did see that the movie is on YouTube for free, and I did pull it up to see the end and just what the hell is going on with all that laughing. I figured it was edited weird, AND IT WASN'T.
The only difference is, the one character that's obsessed with the pearls can be heard ranting about how they need to spend a bunch more time and money to get the pearls again, but that they'll still be rich, along with the laughing. So I guess the characters are laughing because...uh I'm not sure... Anyways. That dialogue can barely be heard in the riffed version because Emily and bots are laughing themselves and it drowns it out.

I was so annoyed I didn't laugh much even though I could tell that the riff writing was strong... somehow that made me more annoyed that they messed up so badly with milhouse crow.
but the one riff that got me chuckling was the King Boo riff..
and they were right.. the music sounded a lot like Luigi's Mansion.

It is the one GLARING problem with the episode. Like I said, I "got used to it", but it doesn't mean I've wholly accepted it. It kind of twists the knife when a GREAT riff is said by Crow that you chuckle at, but at the same time you think "god that voice is annoying".
Its kind of a "Why can't we have nice things?" moment.
Either the episode's Servo is a huge, distracting ham that ruins his lines by overacting. Or the episode's Crow sounds like a cartoon chipmunk on a Disney Channel show. Why can't we just have BOTH sounding normal for 1 episode?
I'm hopeful she'll have her Josh "Mighty Voice" moment, like when Josh stopped "acting" with the stupid Kermit the Frog voice, and switched to his own natural voice (but a bit deeper).

Its gotta be a TV setting thing at this point. No way so many people can experience the episodes so differently for it to be on the episode's end. I've gotta do some more experimenting with the episodes and my TV's speakers settings.

Okay, got to watch the beginning of 1303. One word: god-awful. ...is that two words?
So, same as the last 2 -- theme song--bad. Mads, not good. Graphics, set, production--bad.
But whatever, on to the riffing. Crow is f******cking terrible. There is no way I can watch that. What a joke. That's a voice that would be the real comedic actor making a voice as part of a riff. Emily was, I dunno, okay, awkward, whatever.
I'm sorry, but this is 3 eps in, and I've seen RiffTrax iRiffs and MST3K fan projects better than this.
I think I'm done.

I could've been kinder. But as I'm certain we've both been watching for over 30 years, I personally don't think I need to measure my worth or yours by forum membership. To the topic though, yes, I kind of threw up my hands at this post. if you're going to fold on the episode less than halfway in when there's clearly a variance of opinion on it among longtimers, I'm not sure what more it could do to satisfy you other than be the show of 20+ years ago. You're frustrated, I'm frustrated, let's both be frustrated. Fair enough?

Local man who has enjoyed seemingly nothing about the revival era doesn’t enjoy newest episode, film at 11!

Some are just such fan boys that nothing can be wrong. You are right and objective as it should be.

My only opposite opinion is about Emily. I think she is better than Jonah, but you are right on every other point. It's hard for me to say I'm done when I have been with the show since 1988, but I can say it was much easier for me to drop Doctor Who like a bad habit. The MST3K habit is harder to break. I will stick with it because I invested in it, but I will most likely use the Gizmoplex for all the old episodes which I already have on DVD and then some. On DVD I have every episode except episode 3 of KTMA. I do buy all the classics on the Gizmoplex because I want to support it, but the new stuff I can leave it.

Joel did mention, when speaking to Connor, that there was another shoot after they came back from tour, but they didn't go into specifics what or why that needed to be done (something unfinished, or something to be reshot?) But Kelsey did speak about having to react to GPC while in the theater (when she (GPC) wasn't actually there. she's added in post), so she must have done some puppeteering work, been there with the other two in the studio. Though honestly, it doesn't matter either way, she's Crow and it sounded fine to me. The three riffed well together.
I am really curious to see the end credits, because each of these 3 episodes had kind of a different flavor to them riff wise.
I thought Atlantis found a good balance in the pacing, and the riffing was smart, they didn't over explain a joke, or overdo a running gag (the lamb stuff was just the right amount) and the riffing really suited the scene, was much more in tune with the movie, less of the fan pandering, "lets toss an old quip in there" as they did with Robot. I was happy with it, and Emily's great, I like Connor. Kelsey's a bundle of energy, even in the Q&A you see that (and Joel mentioned that), but I liked her.

I think there are 2 points we can all agree on is: 1. 1303 had really good riffing (as far as the script goes). 2. There's clearly been different teams writing every episodes' riffs, to wildly different effects. I'd rate the substance of riffs, by themselves, so far as: 1303 - A- 1301 - B 1302 - C+ I also want to see the credits to know who wrote what. If Joel ever does another survey at the end of the season, it'd be nice to point to one particular group of writers and say "use these guys on everything going forward!". Hopefully they start to write episodes one at a time in the future, making that possible.
