Since we've covered so many other parts of the show, I was just wondering, who's your favorite bot?

I've always liked Crow. Servo's cool, but Crow just sticks out to me more.
I know I'm probably the only one but I think Gypsy is really funny too.

I always liked Crow. I liked the fact that he had eyes, so there would be some expression.

I know I've felt the incredibly geeky temptation to build both bots, but its really hard to decide. They both brought thier own qualities to the show. I believe Crow was a little more expressive (having eyes and all) but Servo's amazing ability to convey emotion even through his limited functional parts is undeniable. In the end I feel like its between choosing Mike and Joel...I cant imagine the show without either.

I know I've felt the incredibly geeky temptation to build both bots, Same here. Back when I was 15 I even printed out instructions off the internet on how to build my own. I gave up when I found out how hard it would have been to get that Hockey mask for Crow.

I think Gypsy's awesome. I love it in Wild Rebels when she's unplugged from all of the higher functions and has a detailed conversation with Joel using real vocabulary. Then she gets plugged back in, and it's all, "Richard Basehart??"
That Richard Basehart gag never gets old to me.
As for the question at hand? Crow. Especially Bill's more inappropriate, acerbic and bitter Crow. Servo is great, but he sometimes has a sense of condescension.
Or am I overanalyzing all of this?

Or am I overanalyzing all of this? Im hard pressed to think that anyone posting on a new board about a show that has been off the air for over three years would think you were overanalyzing anything. We all answer to the same God here....

This is most notably expressed in Wild Wild World of Batwoman when she doesn't reallize Crow cheated off her until it's pointed out to her. Then she's all "FRY HIM!" She's also hillarious in the Hubble segment from the movie and her malfunctioning in Soultaker.

I know I'm probably the only one but I think Gypsy is really funny too. Of course! Who can forget the spoof of "Appreciating Your Parents" from "The Unearthly". I still find it amazing they could take a combination of recognizable houselhold products and acheive performances more believable than the whatever schlock they were watching. I know that I tend get so wrapped up in the characters I forget they are puppets a lot of the time.

For me, Servo always had the better singing voice.
Beyond that, I can't really think of any category that I would prefer one over the other in.

Servo is my fave. He looks so damn goofy with those non-working arms and little beak. Great singing voice too.
Trace was awesome as Crow's puppeteer though. I laugh my ass off during that sketch in the beginning of Operation Double 007 when he says "Swing choir?!!?!? Aguhh!" and rolls his eyes into the back of his head and like twitches around with his mouth wide open.

Guess I've always been a little more partial to Tom. Especially when a scantially clad woman appears, or when women mud wrestle on screen. A bot after my own heart!

I dont think there was one letter from a little kid to BBI that was shown on the show and the kid's fav was servo. I think there was one in somewhere in season 5. I know it was a Mike episode, can't remember the title though. I remember the kid called him "Tommy Gun Servo."

I remember when a kid showed a picture of 2-XL in the letter.
