No one is surprised at the fact that Frankenstein is representing her in the court room.

he just doesn't understand the wonder that is MST. my mother is the exact same way. she doesn't get how my father and i can sit through episode after episode and not get bored with it. even though we have seen most of the episodes many times, we still laugh at the jokes because they are just SO funny. their wit is impeccable, i love it.

MST3K is an art that is in the ear of the beholder. And since it appeals to people of greater intelligence, your brother is most definately an idiot.
By the way Shatzi, I love your signature line. "The Brain" is one my favorite episodes and strudel is one of my favorite desserts! ;D

Hey Schatzi! I forgot to tell you what I got in the mail today. A copy of "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" on video tape! It's not for me. I have it on DVD. It's a Christmas gift for my boyfriend's mom, who has never seen MST before. I'm not sure she has a DVD player. Hence, the video tape. And finding it on video(without trading) was next to impossible. So I bought it used from Amazon for $9.95. I know it's kind of cheesy to give a used item for a gift, but you know what fanatics we MSTies are. We just want to share the laughter any way we can! I also taped "The Phantom Planet" (one of my favorites) from Sci-Fi. It's a second copy I want to give to my Dad for Christmas. He's also a "newbie" to MST. I think he'll enjoy it.

To Forrest's brother: Hey, you don't like the show? So, we do. It's a funny look at pop culture from the way most, probably including you, people look at it. If you're plastic, and you'd know if you were, then ignore this. But if not, then embrace the power of sarcasm and use if against the plastic masses. Word!!!!!!
