Did you know that the current Applebee's menu features a 9 oz. steak smothered in bleu cheese?
Yum... I guess. But what does it have to do with Mystery Science Theater 3000?
Clue: It involves a Joel episode.

I'd get this one in a flash if we were talking about the IHOP.

C'mon! Someone out there should be able to get this!
I'll give you another hint: a Snickers bar with honey mustard This is from a CLASSIC host segment, people! You really should recognize where it came from! Especially you old-timers!
Now put on your thinking caps and make me proud!

Hmmm, that's either the show with the epicacs or the one with the Killer Shrew drink.

Fair enough. The winner is Mighty Jack who figured out that the connection between Applebee's restaurant serving bleu cheese on a steak and MST3K is that on episode #315 (Teenage Caveman) Joel suggests that bleu cheese on a steak would make a really good ipecac (something used to induce vomiting). Other "rainy day ipecac" recipes included Lucky Charms with Cherry Nyquil, anything mixed with pickle juice and Strawberry Quick with Circus Peanuts followed by a quick punch in the stomach.
I was going to post some more of these strange connections between MST3K and reality, but interest seems to be extremely limited and so I bid you all a fond farewell.
