I would have to agree with Red Zone Cuba, but it has been about 6 years since I seen that episode, so maybe I should give it another chance! That Colman Franis - whatever gave him the idea he could shoot a good movie? Whatever gave him the idea he could shoot a movie, period?

On the topic of unwatchable episodes, one of the worst I own is "The Unearthly". I don't even think the shorts are very funny. It's just plain boring, although it has gotten slightly better on repeated viewings.
I hated "Invasion of the Neptune Men" for a long time, but now I think the first half is funny. The second half is still like having someone powerdrill through my temple, though. And "Prince of Space" is quite boring as well.
I don't seem to mind when a movie is painful to watch. I really like "Manos", "Red Zone Cuba", and "The Skydivers". The worst thing to me is when it is just boring without being remarkable in any way.
Does anyone agree with me that "The Gunslinger" is a sub-par episode? Although I like Beverly Garland's character as one of the few strong females in MST3K history, there is really nothing else to hold my interest.

-Manos is a times hard to watch. as is Hamlet. I agree that hamlet may be he most difficult one to watch. Blood waters of Dr. Z also was Horrible.
I honestly Like the Jack Frost Episode. i find it hillarious.

I got about a third of the way through both Master Ninja I and Alien from Los Angeles before I just gave up. No amount of riffing, not even the promise of the Master Ninja Theme Song, could hold me to those movies. Just remembering... Urgh.

I liked both of those personally but, one of the selling points of them was that they were both cheesy 80's movies and generally when they did those they were really funny just because of how cheesy the movies themselves originally were. Just a thought, Servo

Hamlet, that movie is bad, so bad in fact not even Mike and the Bots can save it.

I just watched Master Ninja I again last night and I noticed the dearth of riffs. However I wouldn't classify it as "unwatchable" because I have such fond memories of being a little sampo watching bad 80s action shows.
For me, Mad Monster is unwatchable.
And the season 2 scale-model monster movies come pretty darn close to being unwatchable. King Dinosaur and Lost Continent, I'm looking at you.

First time poster-long time fan!
The Screaming Skull is the most mind-numbing episode. I am so disapointed that it is the last one that will be broadcast.

The movie is terrible, and it has that awful, awful lead actress in it (see also The Space Children). But that Gumby short really makes it a worthwhile episode.
