This has never been a huge favorite with me. I find it a good -but not outstanding- riffed ep which is highlighted by great host segments. Not as good as other season 3 eps like Pod People, Cave Dwellers or Time of the Apes, but a solid, B- episode.
But I was searching for a riff in the short and kept it on. Maybe I was loopy or perhaps it was because I haven't watched an experiment all week. But I laughed more than in previous viewings.
Favorite moments...
Daddy-O almost hits the caretaker, then goes to meet his friends. One of the teens attempts to ease Phils fears by telling him...
"Aw, he's probably so scared he won't remember his own name". The scene shifts to the caretaker with the cops and Joel say's...
"Carl, my names Carl!"
ROTF, what a classic line, great timing!
Also like the line... "My heads not an apple!" - Joel
and when Bruno is eyeing Sonny, Joel say's... "What, what - you coming on to me?"
I still don't think this is a grade A episode, but I had a good time. What do you all think of it?

I like Daddy-O. Not in the top 10, or top 20 but a good ep.

Daddy-O is in my top 10.
The "Hike Your Pants Up" song is classic. "Make sure you wear your belt buckle to the side Hike up your pants, take your butt cheeks for a ride"
I also love the guy with the huge glasses. "Sorry fella, gym policy."

Your right sampo, the "Hike Your Pants Up" song is a classic. Maybe it would make the top 20. It's a fun, campy movie on it's own.
