Have you ever seen an episode of MST3K once and say to yourself, "This episode wasn't too good." or "I didn't like this episode." or "This episode sucks!" BUT after seeing it a 2nd, 3rd, or maybe even a 4th time, you started to love that episode and it just grew on you and maybe became one of your favorites?
I can name a few MST3K episodes I loved after seeing it numerous times. One is Gamera vs. Zigra. I wasn't into that episode the very first time I saw it, but on the 2nd viewing, it grew on me, and now I absolutely love it. The same can be said for Gamera.
It took about 4 viewings for Alien From L.A. to grow on me. It took me 3 viewings to like Catalina Caper, and I saw Final Justice twice before I liked it.
And it's not just the movies, either. The same thing applies to shorts too. When I first saw Mr. B Natural, I didn't like it. But after seeing it a second time, I fell in love with it and it became my all-time favorite short. The same rule applies to the Gumby short, Catching Trouble, Using Your Voice, and A Day At The Fair.
Usually, I watch an episode, like it, then watch it again to re-affirm my liking of it. But these are just the exceptions. I'm sure I'll like an episode I've seen about 4 times several more times, since I haven't seen alot of MST3K episodes.
So, have you liked an epiosde on a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th viewing?

Alot of the episodes that I like now were actually at the bottom of my list when I first saw them. Here are a couple that come to mind:
- Escape 2000 - Cave Dwellers (now it's one of my favorites of all time) - Mitchell - Master Ninja I - Warrior of the Lost World - Soultaker - Agent for H.A.R.M. (another of my faves)

Hamlet. I'll get flamed for saying it, but definitely Hamlet.
More to come later.

I didn't like Mitchell the first time I saw it but on the second viewing it was great.

It took a while to really warm up to Final Sacrifice. I still don't love it but I like it better than I used to.
Then there are some episodes I keep trying to like on repeat veiwings because they're so popular but the end up getting worse and worse (Pod People for example).

Neptune Men was a little difficult to watch at first, especially during that very loooooooong drawn out space ship attack scene at the very end. but after viewing it a few more times it became more and more enjoyable. Hamlet i must say is still hard for me to watch though.

Squirm took me a second viewing before I liked it, but I always loved "A Case of Spring Fever." Why didn't they do more shorts in the sci fi years???
Jack Frost took me a few times because I really don't like the fantasy movies at all. However, the riffing in Frost is so great you really have to admire it.

For myself, it would be "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank". I was just as mad as Mike and the bots at the end of the movie as to what just happened.
After I got over that to some extent I realized that there were some great lines in the movie and now I enjoy the episode.
