Anybody remember episodes where they made (mostly derogatory) references to that crooning, shaggy-maned 70's Canadian lothario, Gino Vannelli?
I can think of a couple of easy ones:
303 - Pod People: A thick, furry leg steps down into the movie's everpresent fog - Crow wonders, "Gino Vannelli?" (Mr. Vannelli was known for being rather hairy, you see.)
706 - Laserblast: In the beginning, green-faced, creepy guy fires the laser-gun-arm at the turtle aliens - Crow: "Look out! It's Gino Vannelli!"
Another I don't remember: a short during the Joel years. Shows a shot of an arena filled with cheering people, then cuts to the same arena, empty. Joel cracks: "Huh? Hey... looks like a Gino Vannelli concert."
Then there was some B&W 50's rocket movie I can't place: Just as they get up and leave the theater for a host segment, Crow says something like, "Hey, that one guy looks like Gino Vannelli!"
Anybody name those last two, or think of any more?
(Hey, ya gotta admit: it's a new topic of discussion.)

Escape 2000 had one I beleive. Yes, when Trash walks in on his dead parents, and the music is all sad. Mike says "Lorenzo Lamas, in the Geno Vannelli story."
