You make a good point. One thing that I believe would go over well is if Rhino released a huge, season box set of the KTMA episodes and actually dug up the first 4 (including the pilot) and found a copy of Superdome that was complete. Now that would be worth the price.
Just a thought, Servo

No way, a lot of those are already released on DVD. I should've qualified all that: This is what I'd do if I were in charge of Rhino's MST3K release agenda from the very beginning. (C'mon, I'm not that goofy...)

How about the Rather Bloody Good MST Bad Brit Pack? It would include "Devil Doll," "The Deadly Bees," "The Projected Man," and "Gorgo." It would come with lots of dead brilliant extras, including a poseable (and soul-interchangeable) Hugo action figure, a vinyl 45 of "Stop the Music," an 8x10 glossy of Lembach (who's staying, since you asked), a pre-stained facial diaper, a warm wool fisherman's sweater (in your choice of black, navy, or off-white), and a pint of slooooooow, thick ale.
Sorry, I'm married to a Brit and I lived in Wales for a short while, so I usually have Brits on the brain. Heh.

I like the idea of a Brit pack. Not only are the British movies fun, but all of the great riffing on British characters in any movie. The British guy at the doppling center in Overdrawn is the only one that comes to mind now, though.

I would like to see a Best of SFC collection... Time Chasers Pumaman Soultaker Hobgoblins Extras would have the un-MSTed versions of the film Hobgoblins has already been released on DVD un-MSTed. I've seen it at best buy... It looks like a really bad Hardcore Porn. Hobgoblins is a really bad softcore porn so that's false advertising. How about a Superheroes/villians Rhino pack: Prince of Space Invasion of the Neptune Men The Pumaman Diabolik

Jim Mallon would never agree to it, but there'd have to be a KTMA box set too. The first disc would contain episodes 00-03 and would be on a special gold colored disc, fittingly, as the holy grail of MST.
--Oh, sorry TS69, didn't see your earlier post.

Alright, I just have to ask: why would Jim Mallon never agree to it?

I'd also love to see a Season 7 box set as well as a set featuring the two Godzilla films and two Gamera flicks.
My Sci-Fi Channel Era dream set would be this:
Pumaman Final Sacrifice Werewolf Hobgoblins
Another idea I had was to do something like the double feature discs MGM has been putting out. Two episodes on one disc, maybe one with Joel and one with Mike for balance. If Rhino could keep the costs low enough, they could make some pretty extensive box sets this way.

A "Best of" series would be fun. How about a "Turn Your Crank To Frank" box set. Hosted by TVs Frank! The movies, hmm?
* Rocketship X-M (his first show) * Village of the Giants (Frank gets fired) * Samson vs the Vampire Women (His final show)
but what should be the 4th? The Sinsiter Urge (Frank heavily featured as Mad Bomber) Last of the Wild Horses (Frank n' Forrester in the Theater)
Extra's would include some of Franks favorite moments (we gotta have a clip of his song "If Chauffeurs Ruled the World"!)

How about a Superheroes/villians Rhino pack: Prince of Space Invasion of the Neptune Men The Pumaman Diabolik I know. But they can still issue out the uncut version to Rhino, their is no stopping them. Besides who wants to pay 14-20 dollars a pop for Soultaker (also on DVD), Time Chasers (on VHS exclusively from David Giancola) and Pumaman (not on DVD) when you can buy them in a set and have the uncut films to laugh or cringe at

Alright, I just have to ask: why would Jim Mallon never agree to it? Oh, because in the ACEG they talk about never wanting them aired again, and if anyone had a copy of the first three episodes it would be him or possibly Joel. Obviously they exist or the one tape that shows clips from those early episodes wouldn't exist. Maybe someone should just write to Jim and ask if he could copy them. It works for the rest of us. Well, except with the greedy guys who demand $10 an episode. But where they offer almost zero information on the KTMA year officially and have said it was an embarassment I don't see them getting released.

Maybe someone should just write to Jim and ask if he could copy them. You know, if nobody has tried this after all of these years, I would be highly disappointed in the MST3k fans. Maybe we can start a petition and send it to BBI --LordKaT

Too many people are too lazy to sign a petition. They gripe that petitions do nothing..... without trying it. Here in California a petition gto Arnold elected govoner.
