Well, I went and done it. I rented TSHB last weekend and had a hoot. I don't have much to add that can't be found in the great link Miss Interoceter kindly supplied except for a couple little things: The review mentions the General (colonel?) answering the buzzer when it doesn't buzz but forgot to mention, and it's even more hilarious, that he answers his phone when it doesn't ring, reacts to it and everything. Oops, dubbers, keep awake! If this film had been MSTed this would have been on a par with the "Brrrrr" in Monster a Goo Goo... NOw this may be kind of anal of me but there is no way in my mind that the new footage and the original were filmed 5 years apart. Those people do not look 1968! Seriously, go look at the pictures...Are new footage actor's moustache was popular in about...what? The early Burt Reynolds/Mark Spitz/John Holmes era of say somewhere between 72 and 74...and the clothes...especially the woman with that humongous tie. That's seventies. No earlier than 71. Anyone else agree? I follow dates and trends pretty closely and I think I'm right.(The new footage really did feel like it was going to turn into Deep Throat at any second) Oh, and I was bored to death...this isn't one of those cheesy movies that is fun to watch Unmsted. Hitler's head was so goofy it really livened things up at the end , ha, ha, but I can't recommend this film.... I give it two cheesies

I haven't seen it yet, but examining the pictures at Jabootu, I'd agree with you lmd, it certainly didn't look late 60's to me. I hope none of the film students involved in it never went on to have serious careers in Hollywood. And if they were late 60's students, they had an incredible prescient vision of things to come on par with the man who could anticipate his buzzer and telephone.

I wrote a MST script for "They Saved Hitler's Brain" it was (and might still be) one of my fan productions of MST3K. It truly is a bad movie, but it's easy enough to make fun of without really digging into those old wounds. Hitler can't talk so there really isn't much bashing on the Jewish. Anyway, watch for it's release, but try to avoid it unMiSTied. Don't say I didn't warn ya
