Since the Home Economics short as riffed several years before the most notable school shooting, I believe that was a reference to Charles Whitman, famed belltower assassin who shot fourteen people dead at the University of Texas.

They've made quite a few references to belltowers over the years. The CHEATING short is another example. Here's an unusual one though.
K19 - HANGAR 18 Joel: "The aliens just wanted their tang.... It's a new prune-flavored tang." Servo: "Prune tang. Hahahah. Oh...."
Then there's the hermaphro-bot and Lyle Wagner Penile Implant Show and belt-whipping jokes in the host segments.

Possibly the all-time classic:
Hired! Part 2---
Old fart on porch: The first thing that Harry drilled into me...
Crow: ...was Harry!
(Joel gives him quite a scolding.)

How bout in Jack Frost, when the witch is trying to put Ivanooshkastolichnaya (or whatever) into the oven, he puts his feet on the side of the oven and someone says, "oooh , roasted nuts"

In "Girl in Gold Boots" when the guy in the band asks Critter if he has any songs written down, Mike (I think) says,"In case we want to burn one or crap on one."

I was watching Diabolik today and heard Mike's hilarious comment, "Well, I'm just delaying the moment when she finds out I have an undescended testicle."

In Jack Frost, they're pretty tough on Ivanushka. When he says "I've never sat on a shovel before," Mike replies, "Not the flat part, anyway." Oh, that is so low! ;D Ivan is a bit of a pretty boy though. That reminds me of another riff: during a close-up of Ivan's face, Mike says, "You know, this guy is actually Jamaican."

Oh man, I just watched Jack Frost today and I was gonna come on and mention that "Not the flat part" riff, but ya beat me to it, Blurryeye! I especially liked when they compared Ivanushka to Simon LeBon. I used to be a huge Duran Duran freak when I was a tot, so that really made me laugh.

Several in Riding With Death. When Abby escapes from the duffel bag Crows says "The first test of the female condom." When Buffalo Bill's truck is slowing down Sam's truck Crow says "My oft complimented Peterbuilt is rhythmically nudging that sweet honey pot of yours." Then Tom scolds him for saying it.

I remember this one from Beginning of the End 'cause I used it on a girl once.
Crow: Does it involve taking off my pants?

Just watched "Starfighters" and there's a double date. In the car there's 2 in the front, 2 in the back. And while the camera focuses on the couple in the front seat... Crow makes the sound of squeeking springs (as if the couple in the back seat are doin the nasty).
