I thought a Google search would yield something... but not a nibble. Here's as much of the lyrics as I could make out: [Servo: "What is this? White reggae?"] What should I do? It's getting late. I'm feeling blue.[Joel: "Oh, this is Morrissey."] [Crow: "Ohh"] I sometimes think it's one of the jokes.[Joel, imitating Rick: "It's a cookey radio, isn't it?"] [Crow, imitating Laura: "Yeah, it goes in my ear."] [Servo: "Boy, you know, Ringo did some bad songs, but this is really embarrassing."] [Joel: "Yeah"] What should I do ["retire" - Crow] She hasn't come. I'm feeling blue.[Joel, imitating Tracy: "Hmmm, this should fit over my head."] I'm starting to think that you will come at the end ["what?" - Servo] But why you didn't call and tell me(couldn't make out the next line) [Servo: "Ahhh, the Van Trappe Family Singers on the road."] [Crow: "I hope they find some Nazis."] [Servo: "Enjoy the good life in retirement; Scenic back roads; Morrissey songs 24 hours."] [Joel: "And it really came together when MOM sang along."] blaaahblah, you call me to tell me you loooove me. You tell me you need me, you're lettin' it show.blaaahblah, you call me to tell me you loooove me. You play the same again, what do you want from me-me-me-me?[Servo: "Oh-Oh-Oh Joel-Joel-Joel! I'm tripping-tripping-tripping --"] [Joel: "It's just the echo-plex."] [Crow: "Talk him down Joel."] [Joel: "It's the echo-plex buddy."] [Servo: "Oh. Whew, I was worried."] [Crow: "Hey, look, we payed for the van, we're gonna film it."] [Servo: "Payed for the song, too. Gonna use it all."] www.imdb.com/title/tt0086026/

For goodness sakes, it's definitely notMorrisey, who would have been busy recording The Smiths first album at that point in time! To me it sounds more like Ringo than Morrisey, but it's surely neither of them.

Which means that the original lyrics were most likely in Spanish. If you can translate those lyrics into Spanish, try googling that.

You guys have convinced me it's not Morrissey, so I won't be throwing away those Smiths CDs just yet. LOL

well, just because it was made in spain does not neccessarily mean the musical soundtrack would be in spanish. i assumed the movie is originally in english, especially given the idiot control ok it stinks song and the effeminate chunky man's cotton declaration of his sexual inexperience....anyway, i still don't think it's morrissey, but after reading the lyrics, i will say that its extremely morrissey-esque...

Well, I'm sure this is of no importance, but IMDB lists soundtrack credit to only one song and that's called "Hear The Engine Roll". Plugging that into AMG yeilds nothing. So I think it's safe to assume that it's a generic tune for the movie.

I came across this post while working on captioning this episode. This is a song from the original soundtrack, it's called "Sara". Here's a link to the Soundtrack: www.youtube.com/watch?v=klBhgT5OJFU

Song Title: Sara Artist: Luis Pastor
What should I do? It's getting late I'm feeling blue Why can't I think It's only one of her jokes?
But she's not in the mood for playing I can hear the sound of her crying Feeling blue
What should I do? She hasn't come I'm feeling blue I want to think That you will come at the end
But why you didn't call and tell me You don't wanna see me babe Feeling blue
Sara, you call me and tell me you love me You tell me you'll meet me You then do not show at the door
Sara, you call me and tell me you love me You're playing the same game again What do you want from me?
