In 814 - Riding With Death, when the Universal planet logo shows up, the very first riff is Servo humming, "Da-ba-da-ba-daaaaa!", then he makes a weird little "br-bb-br-bb-brrr" sound. Mike chuckles and mumbles, "Good one." What does this riff mean?

Its a reference to the Jetsons.

They try to find out the source of the reference by asking about it in this thread.
That's what it's for. Now, back to the questions about riff sources.

Ok, so during the SciFi era, Mike and the bots would often make reference to "Michael Collins", usually when an explosion is seen.
For instance, in Episode 905, a credit comes up for Cinematography for Michael Collins. Mike says "So everything's going to blow up?" Or something like this. Are they referencing the Irish Revolutionary, or am I missing something?

So that would have brought him to the pop-culture forefront for a while. The Sci-Fi years were from 1997 to 1999, with episode 905 being made in 1998, I think.

Does anyone know what the line 'A Prarie dog taught me about being a woman' in Beast of Yucca Flats refers to?

There was an published essay once entitled "what my mother taught me about being a woman." That if I remember correctly had something to do with astrology and sexual compatibility. Can't find and internet reference, though, maybe another MSTie has insight?

I don't know if this odd riff has been mentioned before, however, I have to ask.
What are they referencing when Mike and Co. say what sounds like "Eggo-east!" . They say it in Incredibly Strange...Zombies, and I think in Final Justice when showing the crowd of Europians at the carnival.

It's from an ad campaign for "Chanel Egoiste" The commercials invariably featured European women screaming "Egoiste!" from balconies and windows, etc.

Maybe they're referring to Tom Pringle ("Heir to the potato chip fortune") from Catalina Caper... I thought it was DON Pringle, not Tom. At least that's what Daddy-O's site says.
