Maybe they're referring to Tom Pringle ("Heir to the potato chip fortune") from Catalina Caper... I thought it was DON Pringle, not Tom. At least that's what Daddy-O's site says. Don is correct.

It's from an ad campaign for "Chanel Egoiste" The commercials invariably featured European women screaming "Egoiste!" from balconies and windows, etc. Thanks!!

Just over an hour into Moon Zero Two the hero walks up to one of those moonpod thingies and pauses, and Servo says, "Wish I had me one of them plows." What's that from? It sounds Grapes of Wrath-y but I don't remember it from that.

I believe it is supposed to be an impression of a mid-westerner coveting his neighbor's snow plow. ...possibly a regional commercial for such a product?

I was hoping someone would know for sure where that - Sure wish I had one of those ________ - Sure wish we had one of them_______, line came from. I was thinking one of the Bowery boys said that a lot. Or some other 30's or 40's thing.

There was a line by George C. Scott in "Dr. Strangelove" where he says something along the lines of "sure wish we had one o' them Doomsday Devices" *edit* found a clip that includes the line. (right at the end) www.youtube.com/watch?v=BldWP-V2ve8Haha, damn George C. was hilarious in this movie.

I can't watch youtube at work, but I've seen Strangelove many times and I remember the part you're talking about. Maybe I'll watch it again this weekend. And if I had to pick the funniest moment in film history it might be that scene when George C. Scott gets a little over-excited in the war room describing the bomber coming in low. He was amazing in Strangelove. (I also loved Sterling Hayden in it.)

What is "Mark seven"?
I know of two occurrences at the moment. In 422 - The Day The Earth Froze, Crow is saying this as Ilmarinen pounds something with his hammer. Then during the movie credits of 909 - Gorgo, I think it's Crow who says something like that the titles were designed by the Mark Seven Corporation.

Ah. I didn't think to search with Roman numerals. When I was a kid (before I learned Roman Numerals) I used to think it was MARK V-I-I (vee-eye-eye) LIMITED.

In episode 201 Rocketship X M, on of the first things TV's Frank says is "I'm the God, I'm the God". Joel says it again during the short in 203 Jungle Godess. Does anybody know where that is from?
