I’m sorry if this has been brought up and answered before, but in Quest of the Delta Knights, I think it’s Servo that says “You wanna free Moobia(sp?) while you’re here?” I’d look it up, But I don’t know the correct spelling. I also here this before, with Servo shouting “Free Moobia!” but I forgot which episode its referring too.

He was sentenced to death but there were many questions about the legitimacy of the evidence and witnesses who testified for the prosecution, which led to the "Free Mumia" movement. His death sentence was commuted to life in prison in 2011.

From Untamed Youth: "You'll be perfect for my experiments!" (And I think echoed in other episodes.) Is this a reference to anything in particular or is it just a cheesy mad scientist type line?
Edit: I think now it's definitely a reference to something, I just don't know what. As "she'll be perfect for my experiments," it's heard in 113, 104, and 105. I'm willing to bet it's said in other Season 1 episodes, too.

So on one of my many rewatches of Zombie Nightmare, I noticed whenever there's a shot of a house's exterior, Servo starts singing something. I'm guessing it's a TV show theme or something? I know when the camera zooms in on Frank's apartment building and one of the Bots sings, it's a Bob Newhart reference.

It's from "My Three Sons", the sitcom that ran from the early 60's to early 70's. They always played that music when you saw the outside of the house. Also the riff about Steve refers to Steve Douglas (Fred McMurray) the father on that show who worked in military tech.

I know Joel sings it too in Eegah after I think Servo makes a "My Three Skulls" joke and I guess I didn't recognize the tune! And my next question was going to be who Steve was so thank you XD

I just posted this by necro'ing another thread here. Forgive me, but it was appropriate. In case it isn't buried somewhere here in these esoteric pages, I didn't want anyone to miss this: youtu.be/1OEUv82rJD4?si=ZowUdkEAd5PV1QKtThe show really hides its meaning well. Evil overlords bombard the protagonist's mind with HORRIBLE MEDIA, and to keep from going insane, he invents friends? Talk about a "Zarathustrian sense of self"!
