Gypsy served as the engineer, the life-size robot, the female robot, a good extra, and the list can go on. Plus it was the easiest transitioned puppet in the series I'd say. I can barely tell Patrick Brantseg from Jim Mallon in the Gypsies.

I like it in the episode where Joel connects her fully, but it drains the life support from the rest of the ship, but she really needed to talk. And she's cool as the NBC Mystery Movie of the Week.

She's cute.
I liked how Joel seemed to love and respect her as a woman and motherly figure on the ship. Like in 320- The Unearthly when some of the host segments are devoted to explaining/appreciating her role on the ship.

I loved her occasional rampages: "You guys, SHUT UP!!!"

My favorite Gypsy moment was in Bloodlust when we first meet Pearl.
Gypsy: I just want to call her something that rhymes with bitch . . oh, I mean witch!
I still can't believe that Gypsy actually said that. It totally blew me away!

Actually, I think he is pretty cute. I love it in the "Appreciating Gypsy" segment when Gypsy shows up and the bots are suddenly so guilty. "He's gonna help me clean my room. Heh." Gypsy really did need more screen time. (So did Cambot, and why did Magic Voice disappear in the later years?) Anyone else think Gypsy and Tom make a cute couple?

I always found it irky when Crow or Servo would flirt with Gypsy. It was like they were flirting with their "sister" kind of. *shudders*
But, yeah Gypsy was a cool character, and I've said this before, but Gypsy was probably the most evolved character. Watch the season 1 episodes and take note of how slow, almost autistic-like she is, as opposed to say, Season 7 where she's more "on to everything", mature, and intelligent.
Gypsy constructing plans to help Joel escape is something I can't imagine Gypsy doing in Season 1 (which all around woulda sucked anyway, cause it would meant Joel would have been leaving early).

When did Crow and Servo "flirt" with Gypsy?

When did Crow and Servo "flirt" with Gypsy? Well, there's a debatable bit in "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians". When Crow reads off the dialogue cards for Patrick Swayze's Road House Board Game, he says "You're my new Saturday night thing!" seductively while looking at Gypsy (and she replies with a flattered "Ooh!").

And Tom and Gypsy did go on a date (never mind that it went horribly). The only other examples that come to mind this late at night are:
Eegah when Gypsy gives Joel the anastethetic and Crow growls stuggestivly as she leaves. Sinister Urge The second host segment, I think, when they're acting like old time cops, and Crow tries (unsucessfully) to hook up with her.
I'm sure there are others I've missed, but it's midnight, I'm in pain, and I need to go to bed. It was wonderfully adorable when the boys were so possessive of her in Wild Rebels, so much so that they'd gang up on their creator over it.
I guess in a sense they are all siblings, but it mostly depends on how you want to look at it. I tend to skip that whole debate in my fanfics and have Tom and Gypsy get married and build a couple of bot children- Marvin and Bonnie; and be working on a third- Richard Jr.
G'night.

There was also a host segment in... Crash of the Moons, I think. Tom and Crow competed for her affections, singing songs about "The Gypsy Moon."
I'd rather give the appreciation to Jim and Patrick, for having to wield what was probably the most awkward of the bots to handle.
