Corey, you are the man for tracking him down and getting him to do an interview. Thank you sir. Final Sacrifice is one of my all time favorites. Props to Mr. Mitchell for not holding a grudge against MST and being willing to talk about the movie (cough cough Troy).
Rowsdower-mobile away!

Well, really, you've got to admit they did slam the kid who played Troy pretty hard in that episode. Would YOU want to talk about being mocked and lampooned?

He says in the interview that "MST3K was not available in Canada". This is only partially true.
Yes MST was never broadcast from any Canadian tv stations, but if you had satellite, you could pick it up on CC or Sci Fi.
Thats how many of us Canucks watched it.

Bruce Mitchell: "I was even a professional clown for children's parties for a time." He looks like a makeup-less clown.Haha, I thought the same thing! I'm guessing they had no idea he really does play a clown though. Overall, good interview. I have wondered what happened to some of these people.

Nice to know my namesake is not a dickweed! Though there have been few MSTed actors who have been so inflated that they take it personally. Several have appeared almost thankful.

I only got into it after its initial run and only realized that my friend could pick up Sci-Fi with his satellite a few weeks before they pulled the plug on it there. I managed to get him to tape two episodes ("It Lives At Night" and "The Screaming Skull"). I had to download almost every single episode (other than about 20 which I bought).

Great interview. Mr. Mitchell seems like a very down-to-earth guy. I enjoyed learning more about the man. And I found out how to pronounce "Tjardus Greidanus ", too! He comes from a long line of Greidanuses, you know.

Just want to pass along to Bruce that my family has truly enjoyed laughing at the Final Sacrifice episode and loved the Zap character. ;D Way cool that he wasn't aware of his cult status. My travels have taken me and my family to the Hills of Alberta, but still haven't run across the big, dumb guy trapping fur, but we keep our eyes out. Also, have visited SAIT (where the movie was made) numerous times and the folks there are also are unaware of the movie and its MSTie status.
Bruce - all the best to you!

It would be cool if Rhino could get Final Sacrifice on an MST3K box set, & Bruce J. Mitchell could do an interview that would be an extras on the set.

I know this is old, but I just found it. That's a fun interview. I have recently been interested in finding out more information about Bruce Mitchell. A few months ago a family visited our church for a few weeks. They guy looked exactly like Rowsdower (+20 years). Before I could introduce myself they were gone. I tried to find out if he was still in Canada or if he was in the states (specifically Charlotte, where I am). But I couldn't find anything out. Thanks again for the great interview. What a good sport he was!
