I strongly disagree about the talent. Yeah, there are some that have no business being there. But Clarkson has a hell of a voice and Clay has a real clean delivery, near perfect pitch. His problem at the end of the competition was that he was trying too hard to blow 'em away instead of letting that voice glide.
There was a show this year tho, one of the ones where they cut it down from 12 to 2? Man did they stink. I couldn't beleive how off key they all were. I'm a rock n' roller and I don't have the vocal range or dicipline that a great singer should have, but I'm better than at least 10 of the jokers on that particular show. Pee-you!
