You're the one that I want ooh ooh ooh by John Travolta and Olivia Newton John......flush. "Magic", by Olivia Newton-John.......Why are there so many weird similarities between yousonuva and I?! The U.K. one was Use it up and Wear it Out, by Odyssey [?]. I don't know that song, but I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that it was also a pile of dung. And some people think today's pop music is bad!

"Lady Marmalade" by...who cares, it's disco crap. 1975, what are you gonna do?
Poor Chem, born during the all-time low water mark of music (1990-1992). Right Said Fred is bad, but it could have been MC Hammer, or Vanilla Ice, or Richard Marx, or Milli Vanilli, or the New Kids.
And The J. Geils Band was pretty good. They had some major hits. "Centerfold" is a great song, and I'll bet dollars to donuts you've heard "Freeze Frame" before.

So you're telling Nirvana, Sound Garden, and Green day are a low point in music?! the ones you said sure but the early 90's had soem of the last original music until Cobain died

I think those bands (along with PearlJam, Faith No More, and the Chili Peppers) pulled the musical landscape out of the gutter it had been in. But it wasn't until about mid-92 that their influence actually hit full force.
Nirvana in particular is remembered as being far more influential than it seemed at the time. I was in high school when they hit, and they didn't really explode on the scene like VH-1 would have us remember. It was more gradual than that.
