Hee, hee. We had a cat that tried to have her kittens on my 4 year olds lap(the pain must have drove her crazy)All I remember is some huge purple ball coming out of the cat. I quickly put her back in her prepared birthing area of the closet. My daughter was stunned and said "wa was tha?" We promptly fixed her after that. Lucky the kitties all went to good homes.

There has been no greater event for me than to be present at the birth of my daughters. Same here (replace "daughters" with "daughter and son"). Although, lisa's right about the episiotomy. I was prepared for everything about labor....except that. *shudder* That's something you can't unwatch.
