This is sad news if Rhino really does go by these results.
I have nothing against the Sci-Fi episodes, but it's the CC shows that I generally need quality upgrades for.
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but the assumption I'm picking up from other comments is that the voting was dominated by younger people who've only seen the Sci-Fi episodes. If that's true, why in the world wouldn't they want to see the CC episodes they've never seen? It makes no sense to me. I just don't understand these kids today.
By the way, the episodes in the top 10 are good, but The Giant Gila Monster kicks the a** of every one of them. I mean, Werewolf, for heaven's sake? How in the world did Werewolf make the top 10?

The Sci-fi eps are more well remembered as it wasn't too long ago that they were on the air. I hope Rhino will include one or two from the list along with some less remembered eps. Knowing Rhino they will choose one from the list and package it with three copies of "Hamlet."

If that's true, why in the world wouldn't they want to see the CC episodes they've never seen? Because this whole notion of "kids" having been the deciding factor of the Scifi-heavy results is nonsense. I think it's partly due to a "favorites over oldies" mentality. A lot of us want Rhino to release episodes that are old for the sake of preservation because our tapes are wearing out, because they didn't air very often or because they're "rare" for whatever reason. Just about everyone else is going to pick the episode that they remember as being funny. Which is why you get overwhelming support for the very funny and well-known Final Sacrifice as opposed to a classic like say Magic Sword. Just about everybody here loves FS but we also know that it was aired no less than sixty billion times just a few years ago. And yes, I think Scifi being the last era has something to do with it as well, but I think it has less to do with the age of the viewership than with their age as MSTies. A lot of people were introduced to the show sometime during seasons 8-10, and those are also the episodes still fresh in people's minds. And there's also the possibility, no matter how sacreligious, that some long-timers genuinely find the later seasons funnier. Who knows. It really doesn't make that much of a difference anyway. Rhino's going to release episodes based on how simple the rights issues are. Look at the old poll and how many episodes from the bottom of the list made it on DVD.

Are my eyeballs stuck together with Elmer's glue, or has Quest of the Delta Knights actually beaten out more than 70 other episodes?

You make it sound as though the only people interested in the CC episodes are completists who want a bunch of mediocre episodes to round out their collection. There are a lot of great CC episodes that haven't been released yet. And they'll be new to many of the fans, unlike The Final Sacrifice. Who knows. It really doesn't make that much of a difference anyway. Rhino's going to release episodes based on how simple the rights issues are. Look at the old poll and how many episodes from the bottom of the list made it on DVD. This I agree with, which would make the argument moot.

I'm just trying to make sense of the results. Agreed.

Well at least uncut movies got 5th highest, i guess people aren't that stupid... Some of the recent rhino releases i didn't really care for to have uncut sides (except all my favorites were uncut in vol.1) only for my beloved Red Zone Cuba but they better start it now for some of the stuff they're about to release.

Final Sacrifice is my #1 pick so I was happy to see it got a lot of votes..But I don't believe it's a PD movie so Id guess Rhino isn't going to put it out. But who knows.

I loved all of the winners...I voted for Final Sacrifice as my #1...Puma Man was my #2, I also had Diabolik as my #4, but my #3 was Danger! Death Ray which was so far down on the list, that it wasn't worth searching for.

I tried to vote for Non-DAP DVDs first. However since the only 2 episodes I think I actually saw on TV were Giant Gila Monster and Master Ninja so I had to vote for them first. Then I voted for episode 101 because it's 101. Then another couple of CC eps to round it off.
