Hello-
I hope this is the appropriate place to post this. I figured since this section of the forum contained mentions of current project of cast members, this would be the place. if it is inappropriate, I apologize and please feel free to move it.
I have a Podcast called The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd. It's a weekly 5 Minute, Family Friendly Podcast that has been going strong since November of 2004. We're one of Apple.com's featured Educational Podcasts, we were nominated for a Podcast Award and we're currently on the front page of Apple's Podcast Directory (where we're also in the Top 100).
Anyway, this past Tuesday, we were so honored to have TV's Frank, come by the studio to lend his voice to two episodes of the show where he will be playing Buffalo Bill Cody!
Now, these episodes won't air on the Podcast until October, BUT you can catch a sneak preview of them tomorrow, Monday, August 15, 2005 and next Monday, August 22, 2005 on the internet Radio Show Fill In The Blank.
I've included our press release below! We'd love for any and all MST3K fans to tune in and tell us what they think. Frank does a great job in both episode, of course, though his role in the first is a little shorter than the one in the second episode. Tune into both weeks though so you can hear it all!
Thanks!
Grant

Frank Conniff To Portray Buffalo Bill Cody?On The Radio Adventures Of Dr. Floyd
As the character TV’s Frank, Frank Conniff was one of the stars of the classic television show, Mystery Science Theater 3000. He then went on to write for Sabrina The Teenage Witch and the cartoon Invader Zim. He was also a producer for Oxygen’s O2Be and MTV’s The New Tom Green Show. Now Frank will be traveling back in time to portray Buffalo Bill Cody, the legendary frontiersman and Wild West Show promoter on the hit internet Podcast, The Radio Adventures Of Dr. Floyd. The first of the two episodes starring Frank will be available on the Podcast on Sunday October 9, 2005. The episodes will also be available for free download at the Show’s website - www.DoctorFloyd.com - as well.
The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd is a weekly, 5 Minute, Family Friendly Show that combines the fast paced, episodic hilarity of Rocky & Bullwinkle and the imagination inducing power of “old time” radio. Created by Grant Baciocco and Doug Price, the show holds the distinction of being the web’s first family friendly Podcast and is one of Apple Computer’s featured Education podcasts and was nominated as Best Comedy Podcast in the first ever Podcast Awards. Since November of 2004, The Radio Adventures Of Dr. Floyd has steadily built listenership with it’s wacky tale of the World’s Most Brilliant Scientist, Dr. Floyd as he races through history, hot on the heels of his arch nemesis, Dr. Steve. The show, which is currently looking for sponsors, is breaking new ground in the world of Family Entertainment and is in development as a Live Action TV series. All of the previous episodes are available for free download at the show’s website - www.DoctorFloyd.com
Podcasting is the fastest growing medium in broadcasting. Borrowing it’s name from Apple Computer’s iPod mp3 player, Podcasting, which was developed in late 2004, is a method of publishing Audio or Video files on the internet, allowing users to subscribe to a feed and receive the new files automatically. The Radio Adventures Of Dr. Floyd receives an average of about 2000 to 2500 downloads a week.
