Has anyone ever thought of getting a bunch of people like say on this board to e-mail other companies that release cult movies/shows? I think companies like Synapse, Blue Underground, Mondo Macabro (Which owns the rights to Clonus), or even Media Blasters might want to release some. I have a friend who is close friends with the owners of Synapse i could always try to talk to since he is also a big fan of MST. Possibly we could all e-mail those companies and talk about the board and show how many people are upset witht eh transfers and the companies could possibly see the money they could make. It probably won't do anything but it's just a thought.

Just watched "The Dead Talk Back" and it seemed jumpy and glitchy throughout the whole episode. Hard to explain what it looked like, but it could be compared to static, or lines but you only saw them very quickly. There would be areas where the picture would be okay, then you'd get a few visual objects in there. I thought it was the older movie, but you can also see them during the segments, and even on the shadow of Mike and the Bots. Almost the whole ending credits for MST3K has the glitches. I'm E Mailing Rhino now. I hope this is fixed, since I don't want to boycott them...No one else would orobably make these DVD sets for us.

I just got my set today for my birthday and The Dead Talk back glitches throughout the entire episode like other people have said. It definately looks like a master tape error more than anything.
The glitch in Hobgoblins however if definately a mastering error. That looks WAY too digital to be on the regular master tape. Plus if it was on the master tape most of the time there is a glitch like that the pictures moves up or down as well.

I think while Rhino is at it they owe us a new Merlin also. To tell you the truth, I love the way my Merlin DVD looks. But that is just me

My Dead talk back disk is pretty screwed up as well.
It looks like Sandy Frank dubbed it.

Just watched "The Dead Talk Back" and it seemed jumpy and glitchy throughout the whole episode. Boy, you guys weren't kidding.... I just got a home-made DVD of Georgio Morodor's Metropolis off of eBay that looks better than this...and the source material was a video tape. Anybody else having trouble with "The Selling Wizard" hesitating off and on?

I'm sorry, I'm just not noticing any of that stuff. I'll just have to watch them all again.

I'm sorry, I'm just not noticing any of that stuff. I'll just have to watch them all again. Watch "The Dead Talk Back". If you can't see the problems, then you must have a rare normal copy...Or maybe you think the problems are because the movie is old. I'm still waiting for Rhino to reply to my E Mail. Hopefully sometime this week, if they are professional about it.

So what you guys are saying is that Rhino can care less about defective disks? I know about the last disk that they replaced (some took forever to get to the people), but I would hope that Rhino does something for this horrible transfer.
If not...I guess I'll spend my money on VHS/DVD fan transfers.
