Just got the email from Brian Henry (mst3k.com)

Our friends at Rhino Home Video have given us the list of episodes to be included in THE MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 COLLLECTION, VOLUME 12.
They will be:
episode 419- THE REBEL SET (with short: JOHNNY AT THE FAIR)
episode 504- SECRET AGENT SUPER DRAGON
episode 612- THE STARFIGHTERS
episode 811- PARTS: THE CLONUS HORROR
Extras on the set will include:
Original Theatrical Trailers
MST3K Video Jukebox, Vol. 3
Interview with "The Rebel Set" star Don Sullivan
MST Hour "Jack Perkins" Wraps for "The Rebel Set"
Interview with "Parts: The Clonus Horror" director Robert Fiveson
The tentative release date for the set is October 2.

Looks like another good set, I have seen 2 of the episodes. Hope Rhino keeps the dvd sets coming. That was fast, I was shocked to see that Vol 12 is coming out so soon.

Awesome, this could very well be my favorite set so far. While not all are top 10 material, there's not a bad episode in the bunch (and for me, there's almost always been 1 ep that I didn't care for in each set)
I love these experiments and can't wait. Wow, I'm pretty jacked about this one.

AND one of my all time favorites (The Rebel Set)?
Easily the best set so far. I'll be at the front of the line for this one.

Great selection of eps (I'd give 419 and 504 a 8.5 and 612 and 811 a 9.5), fast turnover from Vol. 11 (less than four months), and cool extras (can't wait to hear the Fiveson interview, I wonder if he brings up The Island) makes this a highly anticipated set for me. October can't get here quick enough. Here's hoping another set will come out before years end. (Hey I can hope)

I'm just glad there's one new episode for me (The Rebel Set). All the other episodes are... meh.. at least they're watchable, except for that horrendous Starfighters movie.

Now hold on, I have a question: are these titles BOLD?  episode 612- THE STARFIGHTERS Why, yes! And 612 is EXTRY bold! With all of that sweet, hot, refuelin' action, how could it NOT be bold? Love that United Servo Academy Hymn. |
