I just ordered Vol. 10 today. Money has been kinda tight and I kept putting it off. I ordered all the other volumes just as soon as they came out. This is really surprising.
Looks like I am going to have to update my site and put those eps back in circulation for the time being.

I ordered my copy the other day. My Mom works in a library and they can order DVD's through the library and get a discount on them. Hopefully I should have my copy in a week.

Hey, I ordered mine from Overstock on the 25th and got it today! That's pretty nice, considering I didn't get expedited shipping or anything. Can't wait to watch it. Them. Whatever. Now if only I didn't have jury duty tomorrow...

I was originally going to wait to order Vol. 10 until the holidays rolled around, but when I saw this thread I decided I'd better act fast. My copy arrived today, so I guess Christmas came early.

I just picked mine up by winning Mitchell's forum contest, this past week. Hopefully he'll be able to get ahold of a copy for me before Toho purges them from the earth.

Need an opinion. Ordered Vol. 10 from dvdplayground.com on Sunday and got a message back today saying it's on backorder and should be about a week before they ship. No mention about any supply problems or it no longer being available from their supplier.
My question is: Should I stick with these guys and keep the order with them or should I cancel and seek Vol. 10 somewhere else? I realize it probably depends on how much of a risk I want to take with waiting, but I'm still interested to see what people here think.

If I were in your position, I'd cancel it and order it from DeepDiscountDVD or Amazon. It seems that they have them in stock, and I wouldn't count on them getting any additional shipments. If Rhino has taken it off their site, I doubt they're going to be shipping out anymore copies to stores. I could be wrong, though.

I would probably check Best Buy and see if they, or someone else locally has it. Keep it packaged and you can return it if the order from dvdplayground.com goes through (and is cheaper). Or just cancel and go with Amazon.
Note: DeepDiscountDVD is out and I don't think there is a spot for it anymore. Volume 1 is listed as "Sorry This Product Is Not Available". Amazon's stock seems to be diminishing quickly, as are everyone else's. Get it quick!

Many times websites will continue to offer a DVD even though they don't have the item in stock. You place your order and some days later they cancel it as the item isn't available. I've had it happen to me more than once and with more than one on-line seller.

Did I miss something somewhere? Has there been an official reason for it going OOP? Which is kinda weird saying because I have seen it more widely available at brick and mortar stores in the last two weeks then when it was released. It is still all speculation right now as far why it dissappeared from the Rhino site and the Info club right?

They don't lose the rights to Sidehackers until March, so I would assume that that set is safe for at least a couple months. Uh oh. Mitchell says Volume 10 is on backorder at Amazon.

Did anyone else think that maybe one of the other episodes had the rights problem? Everyone seems to be all over Godzilla for the problem but you never know, it could've been one of the other ones.
To note i am also in the majroity that it was probably Godzilla but i was just throwing the question out there.

I thought about that. Godzilla seems more likely. What do we know about the other three movies, rights-wise?
