Here are the street dates and UPC info for the Film Crew releases. Once they hit retailers (I'll post links when they do) everyone should pre-order them. Studios always look to the pre-order numbers when deciding to release more. And first week sales are usually all they care about. I am not sure which (if any) retailers have the most clout, but I know Amazon works closely with studios and they are probably the biggest. Title: Film Crew: Killers From Space Studio:Shout! Good news, I'll need to order direct from the AMerican Amazon to pre-order but if it means more then so be it. Now to clear some money on my card!
Bit of a wait shamefully, I thought that they would come out sooner than this, what with the tracks seemingly already recorded. The second following in just a month is good though, so hopefully the other two then others will follow with such regularity. Just got to hope that between this and Rifftrax they don't burn themselves out.

Um, as encouraging as this is... I'm pretty sure they intend to release these through Shout Factory first (none of the titles show up there yet), and that the first one would be in April as they said.

The Film Crew site lists the first one coming out in July now. In the interview with Mike at Quick Stop he made a comment about going from Rhino to Shout! Factory. I am assuming this was the "Rhino" project that Bill hinted at in one of his interviews. That being the case these could have been recorded a couple of years ago. Hopefully if sales are brisk enough Shout will put out more. I am just glad they are marketing (it seems) as FILM CREW dvds and not MOVIE W/BONUS COMMENTARY dvds.

Did Amazon raise the price? I don't remember them being 17.99 when I posted this. I'll add price info to the first post so people can decide where they want to order from.

Weird, that code didn't work for me. Anyone else get an email from DDDVD with a code? (I was going to get the Bond set #4 but it wouldn't give me a discount on in stock items either)
EDIT: It said that code expired. They never even sent me this coupon so maybe it was some exclusive deal?

The two theories about the extremely brief run of the 20% off code:
1) They took it down because it wasn't functioning quite right with the new site (for example, it was good on pre-orders). 2) It was only a test code for the new version of the site that was never intended to get out to the public. Nobody was actually sent this code by email, it was just something that was floating around DVD/Bargain websites.
Time will tell if they release it in an official form or not.

I updated the first thread to reflect the current status at CD Universe and to add some art.

The pre-order is back in place for Hollywood After Dark at Cd Universe. What probably happened with that one is Shout! Factory's non music DVDs have a new distributor. CD Universe probably had to list the first one as unavailable until they had new skus for the new distributor.
