From Satellite News:
The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection: Volume 11, tentatively due out on May 15 from Rhino Home Video, will contain:
* episode 206- THE RING OF TERROR (with short: THE PHANTOM CREEPS PT 3) * episode 409- THE INDESTRUCTIBLE MAN (with short: UNDERSEA KINGDOM PT 2) * episode 414- TORMENTED * episode 1011- HORRORS OF SPIDER ISLAND
In addition, it will contain these extras:
* MST3K Video Jukebox, Volume 2 * Original Theatrical Trailers (for all except "Ring of Terror") * A "Tormented" Reunion (with Bert I. Gordon, Susan Gordon and Joe Turkel) * MST Hour "Jack Perkins" Wraps for "Tormented"
And, says our source, "future volumes of the MST3K Collection will feature some pretty exciting extras." Hmmm...

I can hardly wait. Some episodes I really like and some extras. Not only that, but hope for future releases with even more promise of new content. Very cool.

I can't wait, looks like a great set with great extras.
My dad is on the set, that means I should get a free set!

WOW!
No Peggy Webber! Color me shocked.
As a HUGE fan of Tormented, I couldn't be happier for its inclusion.
The other 3 are average (at best) episodes, but that's no real complaint when all of the extras are added.

"Tormented" is a good one - hopefully we'll see some more Mr. B.I.G in the future, especially "Village Of The Giants". Or maybe MGM is saving that for the 45th anniversary special edition remastered in Dolby Digital 5.1.

Three episodes I don't know much about, and one (Spider Island, which I taped off of Scifi as well) I didn't like so much. All in all, not the worst set. I rarely get the sets though, so it'll have to go down in price before I pick it up.

This set gets a meh from me. Tormented is okay... not anything special, IMO. Ring of Terror is probably my favorite on the set, if you ignore the crappy short. Horror of Spider Island has decent riffing but the movie is so creepy (and not in a fun way). I haven't seen Indestructible Man in a long time, but I recall it being average, and I HATE the serial shorts. Bah. At least the extras are improving.

It will be intresting to see what everyone thinks of this set. I think that it will be great, I have enjoyed everything that Rhino has put out.
The only MST3K ep that I had trouble getting through was 812 - The Incredibly Strange Creatures... I have loved every show that they have put out and this set will be no different!

All good episodes especially Ring Of Terror. My fan DVD of Ring looks like someone put wax paper over the screen, was hoping it would be on next release.

Glad for these eps. My RIng of Terror looks pretty crappy & my Horrors of Spider Island had pretty bad reception.

Not the most thrilling set. I'm miffed that there's no CC-era Mike episode on there. Tormented is, however, a classic (though not a personal favorite) and people have been waiting for Ring of Terror for a long while. The extras are pretty decent, as I adore Mike's Jack Perkins, and the "Tormented reunion" is a good concept. It's a shame they didn't do the cast reunion thing when they were releasing Mitchell and Eegah.
