RIVERSIDE, Calif.--Zola Taylor, who was the first female member of the 1950s group the Platters, probably the only really talented people in episode 601- GIRLS TOWN, died here May 1 from complications of pneumonia, following several strokes. She was 69.

BTW, did anyone ever find out why they refused to film the lead singer in that movie? I mean they REALLY went out of their way to not show his face.
