Just to report, i just watched Tormented and there are a few minor glitches throughout. There is a line that goes through the top of the screen like hobgoblins and there was another quick flash that i noticed. I will check the other ones as i watch them.
Also, the line across the screen is at 31:30.

I also noticed that the rights weren't licensed from anyone this time. So maybe they learned from the whole volume 9 and 10 fiasco.

The promotional insert inside the box only lists volumes 1 through 8.

Can anybody post the insides? Like the disc art?

Ew! What is that one the Ring of Terror disk?!?!? Some kind of human organ, I assume. All these disc illustrations seem to be partway related to the movie contained therein (an x-ray for "The Indestructible Man", seaweed for "Tormented", and a spider web for "The Horrors of Spider Island") - I'm guessing this one relates to the autopsy scene. Either way, it's still pretty icky.

I just watched Ring of Terror. The movie is very dark, but I don't think that's a Rhino problem. There are some brief lines and other tape-related glitches during the autopsy host segment, but otherwise it's an OK transfer.

Thanks Joshway!
Also what's that Tomented reunion like?

The Tormented reunion is not earth-shattering, but it's pretty fun. It's Bert I. Gordon, his daughter Susan (who played Sandy) and the guy who played the suspicious ferry captain. It's about 15 minutes long, and is mostly the participants telling cute anecdotes. Joe Turkel (the blackmailing captain) is a little too much, and I think he makes Susan uncomfortable at a couple points. MST3K is not mentioned.

I got my set on Monday, and so far have watched Indestructable Man, and some of the extras. The Tormented reunion was OK, I wasn't expecting them to mention MST3k. However, I am interested in hunting down the alternate international version of Tormented that Bert I. mentioned filming some alternate nude scenes for! ;D

I've been waiting for this set primarily to get "Ring of Terror," and rushed out excitedly to buy it on my lunch hour -- only to find the movie I've been waiting to see apparently projected through a dark purple filter, rendering it almost impossible to watch (at least on my desktop PC). And it's not just the feature -- the short's done the same way! They're even purple in the scene selection thumbnails.
I know "Ring" is supposed to be an exceptionally murky film, but was it purple on the original b'cast? If not, I don't think Rhino did us any favors by adding the effect. (The other films in the set are B&W as well, but "Ring" is the only "purple-ized" one.)
Does anyone know what gives?

They mucked around with the black-and-white movies a lot in Seasons 2 and 3 in an attempt to keep the shadowrama from disappearing into the darker parts of the image, usually tinting the movies blue or purple in an effort to make the black silhouettes stand out. It wasn't until Season 4 that they got the bright idea to just turn up the brightness on the black-and-white movies so that the darkest blacks were just dark gray.
