Those who all picked up our next taste in awsomeness from Futurama will get a giddy little surprise early on.
During the opening "We were cancelled?" gag after the Professor explains that those responsible for their cancelation were beaten savagly, he claimse their remains were ground into a miracle powder called Torgo's Executive Powder.
The powder is used several times throughout the film. Pretty neat stuff.

what does it do that makes it a good torgo reference? i love that they used the name, but it would be even better if it made you studder, or enlarged your kneecaps

I think they just slapped it on there because they couldn't think of anything else to call it. The primary gag of the powder is that it's made out of Network Executives, it's name never really came into play. Just a fun little wink on their part.

Heh, fun. Though as my signature shows, it wouldn't be the first MST reference on Futurama.

Don't talk during the movie!

I'm kind of on the fence here. On the one hand, it's an odd coincidence and as noted, they've made mst3k references before. On the other hand, it would be sort of an obtuse reference, Torgo would be within the range of names they've come up with before (c.f. Morbo the newsmonster), and the who knows if the more mst ware writer(s) actually came back for the movie.
