Funny. I ordered this morning no problem. Could heavy traffic on their site be causing problems?

Looks like the release date was pushed back a few days to 2/11. Oh well, better late than never. Speculation on my part: Delaying due to higher than expected pre-order numbers? Maybe not... just guessing. :-) According to SatNews:

Let's not get our hopes up too much for the new "extra features". They will probably be very short and minimal. Having just wrote that, I DID preorder mine.
And unlike SOME members here, I am not a dead beat so they took my credit card. *

HOW DARE YOU, PSLOWNER!! DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM!?? I AM FAR TOO IMPORTANT FOR THEM NOT TO TAKE MY CARD!! YOU, SIR, HAVE OFFENDED ME! I CHOOSE PISTOLS AT DAWN! THIRTY PACES, TURN AND FIRE!
And I pre-ordered it last night. No biggie on having to wait though, it's an episode I have yet to see, so it's worth the wait.

Pre-ordered mines as well only $7.95 shipping so the whole thing together is still only about £8. Now to just wait, for some reason stuff from Amazon etc takes longer than stuff posted by normal members of the public when coming from the States! Well that was too good to be true! According to other Brits posting on Sat News they can't order unless they are in the USA or Canada. I had emailed Dr. Rhino before the opportunity to pre-order arose. I've just got a response and they aren't licensed to sell it outside North America. I've emailed back to see what will happen to my pre-order as nothing has been sent from Rhino's shop. Damn it!

I've been thinking. All of the sets and props were sold off after the show ended. It doesn't seem likely that any of the guys have much, if any, of the old parts. It's possible that they might have an old Crow or Servo. But as far as Joel and the guys physically "returning to the Satellite of Love" or the Mads to Deep 13--it simply doesn't seem possible. While Trace is extremely talented and all, even he can't rebuild both sets from scratch! So now it seems to me that the Wired blogger was exaggerating or speaking metaphorically, or plain wrong. Not that the setting matters terribly to me. It's just great to have the guys together again. They went to a fan, JoeCrow, to get the new bots made. Word broke Joel had asked him to build some bots for a documentary a few months back in one of the strongholds of the old Caption This! community. You'll have to trust me that Joe's confirmed via email with me that the bots were used in this segment. As a result of this involvement from one of our own, Tuesday has been declared JoeCrow day throughout the capper community.

I just got volume 10.2 at Best Buy tonight cause I couldn't wait... and that three-minute extra was all I could hope for! There was some blurry edged blue screening going on because the old sets are gone, and Frank did the voice of Tom Servo (that was interesting). But Joel, Frank, and Trace all in character! It was like having an all-new host segment. Of course it was lovable ol' Frank who's to blame for the Godz---(mmph)- versus Mega--(mmph)- mixup.
Edit: Woah, it was supposed to come out on Tuesday? Go Best Buy!

It basically revolves around them demonstrating the "upgrade process" of replacing your Godzilla vs Megalon disc (which they cleverly avoid mentioning by name) with Gila Monster and disposing of GvM (yeah right). So it makes more sense for those who are just getting the lone Gila Monster disc. I'm not gonna spoil any of the jokes for you. But you're all gonna love it. It's great to see them slip right back into character.

The thought of Trace voicing Crow again sends shivers down my spine. In the good sense.

It was as authentic as they could get it. Dr. F was in the green suit, Frank in the black one, Joel in the red one. Oldschool goodness. They even ended it with the "old TV being turned off" effect.
Tom Servo's lines were basically throwaway, no rants or anything, but Frank was all right at him I guess.
