Carnival of Souls is actually a half way decent movie, very dream-like, strange, but not particularly scary...has a real cult following. Was filmed in Lawrence Kansas and Salt Lake City, UT.
Frozen Alive? I know one called Frozen Dead that was kind of a rip off of Brain that wouldn't etc. Has a talking head woman (not Tina Weymouth)with her brain encased in glass and lots of frozen arms sticking out of a wall, and Nazis, and ....you can guess it's pretty bad.
The Jesse James one is not the Billy the Kid with Carradine...

I thought he was in Dracula Meets Billy the Kid. or something It was 'Dracula meets Billy the Kid' he plays Dracula. Good god, Jesse Jammes against Frankenstein's Daughter some movies are bad from the title unless their an intentional comedy. Like the first time on PBS when I saw Monty Python's Flying Circus.

The DVDs in question were put out by Genius Entertainment in October 2003. I am not sure why they carry the AMC Monsterfest logo because many of the movies offered were never shown during an AMC Monsterfest, let alone on AMC ever.
Supposedly, they were available only at WalMart and Best Buy and retail for about $10 each. I found them at the Best Buy website and bought all six of them for $8.99 each.
Each 4-movie set consists of 2 discs with 2 movies on each single layer dvd, so picture quality is noticably poor. But what do you expect for roughly $2.50 a movie.
BELA LUGOSI CLASSICS COLLECTION ONE The Ape Man, Devil Bat The Human Monster, White Zombie
BELA LUGOSI CLASSICS COLLECTION TWO The Corpse Vanishes, Invisible Ghost Phantom Ship, Scared To Death
BORIS KARLOFF CLASSICS The Ape, The Ghoul The Terror, Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome
CULT CLASSICS COLLECTION ONE The Atomic Brain, The Brain That Wouldn't Die Carnival Of Souls, Night Tide
CULT CLASSICS COLLECTION TWO Dementia 13, Frozen Alive The Screaming Skull, Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter
ROGER CORMAN CLASSICS COLLECTION ONE A Bucket Of Blood, Little Shop of Horrors The Terror, The Wasp Woman
Yes, the movie "The Terror" shows up on two of the titles.
As I far I know these are the only six titles produced, despite the indication that there might be another Corman collection.

I thought he was in Dracula Meets Billy the Kid. or something The confusion here is understandable. Both Billy the K and Jesse J. and their respective monsters were directed by the same sham, William Beaudine. These films are so wooden it's more fun watching the paneling above your basement tv. By the way, does anyone know a good reliable source of obscure cult and B movies on the net?
