Nice review, fubisd. I saw it the other day, and even though it was WAYYY too gory for my tastes, it was a decent horror/action film. I was cheering for Jason, btw.

I was cheering for Jason, btw. That's mostly because we were supposed to feel sympathy towards Jason in the movie. I thought it worked, but I still wanted to see Freddy kick some Jason ass.

It means Eragon can school Jason or Freddie's ass. Especially with Murtagh and Saphira...

Forrest, your avitar ROCKS!
One of my alltime favorite trillogies... EVIL DEAD!
And yes, Freddy vs Jason was kinda over-the-top gory. But, then again, that's the inherriant throwback to Manga and Japanimation. It's so intensly gory, it's totally unbelievable. Kill Bill vol 1 was the same way. I don't think that I'm desensitized to it, however. I just know the difference between fact and fiction. Jason folding that total prick in half made me laugh. The dude shooting people on Columbus OH's outter belt pisses me off.

That Eragon stuff sounds like a big rip-off of Lord of the Rings. Correct! Have a cookie. I think that Eragon is better than LOTR though. However, I maintain, EVERY book made after Tolkien was a rip-off of LOTR.

I agree that ARMY OF DARKNESS was the best. I still liked Sam Raimi's original title for it anyway: THE MEDEVIL DEAD I watched Army of Darkness today on AMC. My mother and her boyfriend watched it with me for the first time. Their reaction: "That was.............................interesting........"

What does that have to do with Freddy vs. Jason? Everything. Rumor has it that Ash will be thrown into the mix.

I'm named after the guy. Evil dead 2, and Army of Darkness are great.
How is Ash being included in Freddy vs Jason? I'm really dense.
