I enjoyed it a lot. It seemed to take the aspects I like from the original Burton movie (the stylish darkness, etc) without somehow losing a good story or characters. Something about the original Batman did that - it was a flawed greatness. Especially in Batman Returns, it seems like Burton's characters and plot got lost in their own weird-for-the-sake-of-weirdness. I also liked how this one seemed much more of an adult (or at least a non-kiddy) movie, unlike the last two, especially. The hallucinogenic ideas were portrayed very well and made it seem much deeper of a movie than the Penguin's rocket penguins (or whatever, it's been a while).

Probably gonna eat some painkillers and go see this tomorrow.
Hope it's good. Well, it'll be good anyways, but, yeah.
And, yeah, the Spiderman movies rocked!

Just saw it tonight and loved it. DC's coming back up now, provided the horrible costuming of the new Superman movie doesn't drag it all down.
I could list off all of the things I really liked, but it's hard to tell them all.
Oh, and Bruce Wayne is forever a bastard in my mind for having the two hot babes in his arms that went for a swim. Lucky bastard.
Oh! And the "romantic interest" was really much of a romantic interest, which is why I'm glad they didn't really get together in the end, and her explanation of Bruce's "mask" (the fact that Bruce Wayne is the mask built around Batman, not the other way around), was fantastic and really comic-linked.

No batman movie will be good enough for me until Tim Burton makes a Dark Knight Returns version.

I liked it, It was not a good movie but it was a fun movie. Whenever the guy talked as Batman I was laughing my ass off because he was trying to hard to sound like Michael Keaton. My favorite line was "WHERE ARE THE DRUGS!!!" He also didn't breathe when talked so watching him spit out words just to take in air was pretty amusing. The special effects were cool, and were not overdone. But I think the best scene was when the "feminist" slapped Bruce twice! (reminded me of stranded in space) Oh man was funny. Oh and lets not forget they stole the ending from Spiderman.
I don't know if this movie was intending to be this funny but I haven't laughed this hard at a movie in a long time.

Enjoyed this movie...entertaining, if not stellar. It hooked me at the start when he was in prison fighting these asian men, they all went tumbling down the hill and you hear a distinct, most definitely american accent saying "Ouch." Then of course, him falling down the well brought all sorts of Lassie/Timmy thoughts to me. If you just want some fluff to laugh and relax to, this is definitely for you.

I downloaded something labeled "Batman Begins", and it was a porno. Still more plot and better acting than Batman & Robin.

No batman movie will be good enough for me until Tim Burton makes a Dark Knight Returns version. This is the best Batman grahic novel ever. (Arguably the best graphic novel ever.) An amazing read! This should have been the film.

God, where do I begin about how great this movie was? Just got back, and, wow, the following of comic stories alone is worth the price of admission. The Ra's Al Ghul thing is great. The Scarecrow and how he becomes THE Scarecrow is great. The ending was magnificent (to those who have seen it, I wonder, who will they get to play HIM?).
The only minute problem I saw was the goofy kinda Batmobile. But, it didn't detract from it at all really.
Waiting for the next one!

I just saw it today and - wow! - best Batman movie ever -- hell, it's the best movie of the year so far. I really like "origins" stories with heroes/superheroes, and it's great to have Batman's origin told so well. I also like that the story was allowed to start slowly and build up, with a well-thought-out script that ties everything together (a 1st for Batman movies).
Going in, I thought the movie would be like a prequel to the 1st Batman movie directed by Tim Burton. But, no, this is a new series and it ignored things that the Burton movie changed from the comic, as well as hinted at the next one featuring The Joker as a further break from the previous films.
After the two flawed Tim Burton movies, and the two embarrassing Joel Schumacher movies, I'm just happy they finally got one completely right!

Just saw it tonight and really liked it. Thought the Mad Doctor lost a little of his intensity, tho, before he lost it completely. Loved the score! Jeez, that was some great music! Sometimes things flashed a little too quick for my taste, maybe I want to see more of the punches coming (after seeing Million Dollar Baby). Thought the Bat-mobile was a little too"tanked out" for my taste and must admit I'm crazy about the later versions...all sleek and, yes, sexy...in a car kinda way.
This was my intro to Christian Bale...man, what a gaze behind that mask! Want to check out his "Machinist" now..he's intense!
