What is it about? I've never heard of it.

World of Warcraft isn't a bad game, although I prefer the strategy of Medieval: Total War.

OH! World of WARCRAFT! I thought the game's title was 'World of War'. It's not a bad game. Easy to get addicted to it though. I think I'll stick to strategy games though.

Mr. Atari says that any game more than 8-bits sucks.
I want squares to represent people, cars, and baseballs.
If you want a strategy game, get "Adventure".

My son was totally addicted to this game. We finally had to cut him off. His mood swings were intollerable, and when he couldn't get to play, all he did was talk about playing it. Moderation in everything people.

I just can't get into games like that anymore. Way too time-consuming and requires too much attention. What happened to games being casual, fun experiences?

Better than Counter Strike. My friend plays it all the time and talks about it constantly. It's equally or possibly more addictive.

I've never played it, but I have to admit that I wouldn't be opposed to trying it. I tend to like games like that. However, between www.lotgd.net and www.battleon.com which I can play for free (unless you choose to donate or become a guardian, respectively), I don't see the need for all those fancy graphics.

Some of my good friends are Everquest/WoW/etc. addicts. I've played them, but I just don't have the time. And Change B. Goode: That's one of my worries as my son gets older. I was a big game geek (computer and role playing) growing up, so I'm hardly going to deny him. But I'm worried when I see kids a bit older than him who are beyond obsessed. One of our good friends has a kid who will literally only talk about what he's been playing on GameBoy. Ask him about anything else, and it's like he's got a vocabulary of a 5 year old (he's ten). But ask him about a game, and all of a sudden he's this scholar of alternate worlds. Scary. Edit. Well, isn't this timely?
