It's been a while since I've logged on, so this topic has probably been addressed. I am going to buy some Rifftrax. Which are the better ones?

Wrong forum. You should check out the RiffTrax sub-forum.

Go to gammers web site www.rifftraxfan.comRead the reviews and watch the free previews before spending any money. Remember, everybody has an opinion about what is the best episode. The ony one that counts is yours.

Somewhere on my site I have a top 10, I think after the Spiderman review...
Mmm but from memory and not in order - Spidey, Missile to the Moon, Willy Wonka, Crossroads, Daredevil, Transformers, Lost and Heroes, Glitter, Nestor (a short TV special)

Daredevil, Battlefield Earth, X-Men, Reign of Fire, and Star Wars I are my top 5 choices off the top of my head. I didn't really care for Halloween, and Spiderman hasn't exactly won me over yet - with that said, there really aren't any bad choices in my experience - it's always fun to mock a movie! Episodes I haven't seen yet, but sound good from reviews or in other ways have left me with high expectations include: Glitter, ID4, Aeon Flux, Star Wars 2 and 3, Transformers, among others.
So I'd say go with whatever movies you already own, or whatever movies sound most interesting to you. Or pick the episodes with all 3 of the former Brains riffing, because that's a lot of fun. Personally I'd stay away from the ones where Mike is alone, not that I don't think Mike rocks (he's still the best of the riffers imo), but because the experience is a lot more enjoyable when there are at least two people there to bounce jokes off of each other.

The only one's I really "didn't like", was Fifth Element and The Grudge. Other then that I liked the rest and there were some that were brilliant or really well done when compared with others.
Btw, the ratings I give to the RiffTrax in my reviews are based on how much I laughed.

Your lack of e-Ragon disturbs me.

Best choices:
1. Movies you already own 2. Movies that are currently in heavy rotation on HBO, Showtime, etc.* 3. Anything with the holy trinity** of Mike, Kevin, and Bill.
* It's always great when a movie I own the Rifftrax of shows up on a movie channel. I've been in a few situations where my GF and I are just watching TV and a riffed movie comes on, causing me to immediately sprint for the ipod and queue up the commentary. In one case, we were on a cruise ship when Eragon came on their onboard movie channel, causing me to spend the next 2 hours locked in the cabin.
** not a "Matrix" reference, though it still qualifies.
