The thread about album openers got me thinking the opposite way. Great album finales. Sgt. Pepper's is probably tops on my list, as it was for openers. We've come full circle. You Can't Always Get What You Want is also up there, as the opener was on my list. (The album of course is Let It Bleed.) The Bee Gees Main Course had an amazing finale: a song called Baby as You Turn Away. Helluva song. Everyone else: name some faves!

Weezer's "Only In Dreams." The old people will roll their eyes, but it's a magnificent ending.
That's all that springs to mind at 3am.

The one that comes to mind immediately is the haunting "Decades" from Joy Division's "Closer" album.
I also really like "I Won't Share You" on the Smiths' final album, "Strangeways Here We Come."

I agree with Hugh, Weezers "Only in Dreams" is magnificent. The dueling, building guitars, great finish.
Loves, "You Set The Scene" on Forever Changes. One song, which was actually 2 unfinished songs stitched together. It is a sweeping landscape of power and beauty.
Beatles, "A Day In The Life", is the tops, it's takes all my superlatives stated above to quintessential levels. It is IMHO, the greatest song in rock history. Haunting and beautiful and that final note. Wowzie, wow, wow!

Oh man how could I forget Tomorrow Never Knows from Revolver.
Amazing song and one that broke so many rules. The stories are legend. Of the long loops on tape, which stretched out from beyond the control room and into the hallway. Lennon's voice funneled through the Leslie speaker (which got them reprimanded by the studio management) - The first use of ADT.
Groundbreaking album and song which was apocalyptic, epic, soaring. A tune that is an out of body experience to listen to and one which leaves me stunned and breathless when it's through.
Genius way to end a brilliant LP.

This was easier for me than the openers thread.
Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution - AC/DC, from Back in Black. I listed Hell's Bells on the opening thread, and realized this is an also excellent closer. There's a reason this album remains among the top 10 all-time selling records. It's solid tracks from beginning to end, and this one closes it out in style.
Pie in the Sky - Frank Black, from Teenager of the Year. My favorite of all his solo albums, this tune just whirls and soars as it closes an incredibly tight and quirky double-album.
End of the Line - Traveling Wilburys, from Vol. 1. Too easy, but I'll admit it's not even the best song on the album. Appropriate and beautiful, especially considering Orbison had died not long before the record was released.

Another good one is the title track from King Crimson's In the Court of the Crimson King. The ominous schizophrenia and darkness come to a head in the vocal section. The song seems to end, but it's soon followed by a small flute (mellotron) dance section which starts off almost comic but with dark undertones, and ended with a loud, crashing instrumental statement of the main theme. Quite a good finale.
