I love the hair bands of the 80's.

Most of my favorite bands are ones I would call "guilty pleasures", and none are on the list.
I do sing along to ABBA, though.

I like quite a few of those bands, and I don't feel the least bit guilty.

...any of your favorites make the cut? Well..... I mean if we're talking about bands whose albums I've bought and enjoyed. In fact, I've owned every Monkee and ELO album ever made. I'm confused about ELO and Chicago being considered "guilty" pleasures. But I'm very happy to see that The Monkees are getting some props here.

Not one of them for me. And I don't feel guilty about that either.

ELO is very high in my list. I think it's often perceived as a guilty pleasure based on the number of catchy and meaningless pop hits that they did. I really think that there's a lot more good material there than they're given credit for. In the end, though, Jeff Lynne (when he puts effort into it) for some reason writes songs that really feel the most "right" to me, and that's why I like a good portion of ELO's output.

I really like ABBA. Fun, tasty ear candy.

Me, too. And I loved how they always used ABBA songs/references on "I'm Alan Partridge" and "Knowing Me, Knowing You."

Not one of them for me. And I don't feel guilty about that either. Yeah, too bad Dylan wasn't on that list. But, I dig Rush, ELO, Boston, the Monkees, Styx, Eddie Money, America, Kansas and Hall and Oates. All of whom have quite a good bit of talent musically and get absolutely no respect. Boston and ELO are two of the most technically sound bands ever. It saddens me to see them on a list with that bubblegum pop BS. Servo

Two of my all time favorite bands are the ELO and Rush. I don't understand how they and several others are on this list. (Chicago? Kansas? Boston? Journey?)
I don't feel guilty about listening to any of those.
