so what about the video of the live performance? is that delayed too? I don't think we were ever getting a video from the Flecks Show, it's just originally we were meant to get the DVD of the Pilot the monday after the show. I think it's fairly safe to assume they didn't use the Scaffolding at the LDAC. Is anyone else as surprised by the scale of the scaffold as I am? I think previous photos of them writing at home and Trace working in his garage sort of gave off a more make-shift early MST3K/KTMA feeling. But that photo is like 'Woah Lets Get Serious'. You know, now I really would like a Hi-Def option. I think I might make a thread about it.

Yes, let us be glad they are avoiding the mst3k.com type mistakes...

The scale of the set is impressive to say the least! And if waiting means a better final product then fair enough, it's worth it. Fingers crossed I'll be able to actually get it!

I will admit I was impressed that the original plan was they were filming last week, DVD on monday, but if they want to film more, that's cool too.

So does Joel now that you mention it. Could also be so they don't have to come down between takes. I thought this at first (thinking I saw a chair, but that changed and I edited my post), but it looks like random equipment. Doesn't mean he doesn't just stand off-screen, though... Man, am I jazzed waiting for this!

Bath, I think Rex is referring to the 2 live shows performed on the 7th (which were filmed) as opposed to the Flecks riffing where Joel sat in and riffed with them. And, you're right, the scaffolding was not present at the live event. And I'm out of my element somewhat here, but why would a High-Def version be desired, given the low quality of the movie being riffed? And YES! That sound-studio is HUGE, is it not? RAD

I was looking at the photo of the scaffolding again, and as I was going back and forth between the two guys at the top, it occured to me that the railing is quite a bit like that found on observatory catwalks. And somehow the Titanic is supposed to figure into this, so I immediately thought of the catwalk system in the Titanic's boiler rooms. Then I came up with the idea that they were on an observation deck inside a ship looking "down" (literally and figuratively) at the movie. Just a thought. Edit: Oh, and for the record, I have always hated that drawing of the Titanic, the one they used in this photo: cinematictitanic.com/flecks_poster_sm.jpg . You'd have to be a major Titanic buff to figure out why. I in no way hold this against CT productions.

I'm thinking it's like it is on the logo. Joel on the top left, Josh in the middle, Mary Jo at the bottom, with Trace at the top right and Frank on the lower right. Thanks. I was able to pick out Frank, but I couldn't quite make out the rest. I figured the tall skinny guy was Trace...

Because there's smoke coming out of the third smoke stack, perchance? Because there's smoke coming out of the fourth smoke stack. It was a dummy stack; people thought the ship looked bigger, better, and safer with four than with three.

Oh. I thought the third was the dummy for some reason. Oh well, can't remember everything!

I just reread Joel's last message and got a little worried. First, the title is Happy Holidays. That implies we won't be hearing from him again until January. Also, he says "when we return to L. A. we will begin working on more of the elements of the pilot." When we return we will begin working. I don't want to be a downer on this, but somebody reassure me, quick!
