Whoa! Is this flick bad! Frogs has everything you need. I think. I never could figure out why it ws called Frogs because it was all the other swamp critters that did all the killing. Including giant, swamp taratulas that killed a guy by using tree moss. Yep, you read that correctly, Killer tarantulas using poisoned tree moss to suffocate a healthy young man!!! And then there were the extremely well educated "reading" lizards that had some sort of knowledge of toxic mixtures of chemicals. I know this because they knew what poisons to knock over and create a gas that killed another healthy young man. (I still haven't figured out why all those poisons were stored in fragile glass bottles and placed upon the top shelf in a green-house.) Ray Milland is great in this flick. Of course, he seems drunk most of the time, but hey, if you were cast for this movie, you'd be drunk too. I just love the movie poster

Don't forget the tons and tons of snakes that followed and bit people. Then there were scorpions, the monitor lizards, iguanas and yes, even a flock of super imposed birds. The only thing the frogs actually did was hop around and croak. Not particularly disturbing behavior for frogs, but hey, I'm not a hollywood mogul.

I was wondering around Suncoast a few years ago and I came across this movie on DVD. I never saw it but I was laughing my ass off. A horror movie call "Frogs."
Still haven't seen it.

Maybe the frogs were the masterminds? I think the Frogs were most of the budget also.

I think the Frogs were most of the budget also. Frogs don't work cheap. At least that's the "insider" scoop I've heard.

[quote author=Forrest link=board=general&thread=1075395755&start=7#0 date=1075503210 I kid (I was not scared at all by the film, but I still dislike frogs)

Does you amphibian prejudice extend to toads and salamanders also?

Just caught that slick flick, awaitin' mistification. It was called 'Frogs' because they hopped on an old man and killed him. Maybe they just forgot to tell us that they were incredibly dense frogs. Because I'm certain that radiation, pesticides and other environmental no no's result in lethally dense killer frogs.
