There are three former MST3k writers on RT, five on CT, Jim's selling MST3K video's, and Paul worked with Jim last year. What happened to the other writers like Coleen Henjum and Mike Gandolfi?
I almost feel like I know Joel, Mike, and Kevin, and seem like I'm aquainted with most of the others but I haven't heard anything about the second tier writers.

I think I read somewhere that Mary Jo and Coleen are good friends. So I guess mary Jo would be the one to ask on Coleen.

I often wondered that myself. I've seen Coleen's name in the credits many times, but I don't know if I've ever seen her. Did she ever appear on the show in a guest role or anything? I don't remember seeing any pictures of her in the episode guide either, but I could be wrong.
Edit because I don't check for typos until after I post. Hurr.

Everyone knows that Mike Dodge and David Sussman were the threads that held the show together.

Mike Dodge was the voice of Bob Honcho on the Film Crew DVD's.

I imagine that when the show went off the air the other writers were auctioned off along with the rest of the props and set pieces. Never fear, I'm sure they're sitting behind a glass case in some dedicated MSTie's house, in pristine condition, and are occasionally taken out and dusted off... ;D

Or they're currently playing dead bodies on CSI.

They seem like spectres. They never appeared in front of the camera, never provided voices, weren't even shown in "behind the scenes" specials.
Its my theory that they didn't actually exist.

Good thread, I've never even thought about this before. I've got nothing to contribute but a bump. Hopefully someone will come along with some more good info on those mentioned.

Mike Dodge was the voice of Bob Honcho on the Film Crew DVD's. As well as the face in the pictures. He also appeared at least once on the show, as The Bomb in a host segment during Invasion USA (I think). But, yeah, I've also wondered about those names that show up in the writers' credits so often. Where Are They Now?

Is there a comprehensive list of everyone given a writing credit during the show's run? I tend to forget that the Rifftrax/CT/mst3k.com crews weren't the only writers on the show.

Hm, according to that, Frank was only a writer in season 6 until 618. And Bill Corbitt starting writing on episode 622.

I didn't know that about Frank, but Bill was brought in during season 6 with a couple of other writers to help out while the main crew were busy getting the movie started. I don't believe he was involved with season 7 at all though.

Note that Frank's credit changes to "script consultant" at that point, so chances are he still had his hand in it, at least to a certain extent, before he officially checked out.
