www.moorewatch.comThis site is great because they are fighting over a lost cause. I know some may not agree but honestly, most of the people who hate Bowling For Columbine are basing it on their own biases and the subject matter. I personally liked the movie and caught stuff that the other people didn't. What do u think?

He's just a loud mouthed geek whining for attention.

He's not trying to be funny, it's just some of the stuff he researches and the people he interviews turn out to be funny unintentionally.

I loate guns. With all my being. If it came to bias and subject matter, you'd think I would love Bowling.
Sorry.
[rant] Michael Moore is a pompous, one-sided, closed-minded hack. I'm all for unintentional comedy, but finding unstable and ignorant people and holding them up as representative of all pro-gun Americans is nothing more than propaganda.
I don't like big corporations or guns, but I love my freedom and my constitution. Moore has the freedom to speak out, and I have the freedom to call him an idiot. [/rant]

I said "most" of the people. You are an exception. I don't care if you hate him (even I don't like his 1-sided views sometimes), it's just amazing to me that all these people are registring sites that say he lies when they don't listen to how he words his sentences. It's plain everday ignorance of the english language, I am not ultra good at it but I can comprehend better than most

One of Moore's more reasonable points in Bowling is the fear factor which leads upper class suburbanites to feel they need handguns. So, Forrest, I would add to your list:
Fear = why otherwise responsible Americans do stupid things.

Well Forrest, society changes and people want to kill people. BFC explained that TV has been a major impact in our fear towards people with guns, people who want to protect themselves will probably go buy a gun thus heightening the situation. Even a smart gun owner can kill someone unintentionally or accidentially. I was raised not to use guns or for wanting people to have them, it just promotes too much negative energy. I think their is a day when we will not need guns to solve world arguments or domestic ones. It may be off, way off but who needs guns when the biggest weapon you can use is your mind.

Well, we'll always need guns to hunt dangerous and delicious animals.
Especially today's modern super-animals.
Like the flying squirrel or the electric eel.
Actually, my in-laws own a farm in Wisconsin, and if they weren't allowed to hunt deer, their farm would be overrun. So I'm pro-hunting. It's important for the ecosystem.

I'm anti-hunting. I feel that humans have a ready supply of domestic meat, so why murder wild animals arbirarily. I can understand your arguement though Sampo.

Well, you see, although society changes, most crimes commited with guns are by people who STEAL guns, or buy them illegally (out of someone's trunk). And even though I understand the fact that freak accidents do happen, its really not anywhere as high as the percentage of irresponsible accidents or muder/suicide reasons. I think Americans should be able to own guns if we wish. If the government outlaws that too, then it's just one step closer to the government ruling over many of our other freedoms Americans have. I do believe, however, that some guns simply should not be shold to anyone, period. I'm not against hand guns, for self defense, or hunting rifles, but it's a bit ridiculous wanting to buy a super mega shot gun that can take out forty people in one shot, while gernades fly out the sides -type of gun- should not be owned by anyone. I'm right-wing, so get used to it I'm also right-wing, a newly converted Christian, and agree with everything you said.

Forrest, I'm liberal so get used to that. I don't care if you want guns, I do care you want control over them and appreciate that(unlike some people I know). I may be dreaming too much but hey, anything can happen if you dream.
P.S. I am done with this issue, it gets me too tense to talk about it anyways ;D

Right-wing, left-wing, hot-wings, hooray! We have opinions. I guess we're human after all.
As long as we're all card-carrying members of the Informed Thinkers Club, we should all get along fine.
BobJohnson, if you think guns are controversial, try mentioning Bob Dylan around these parts. Yikes.

I own several guns, and, my younger brother and sister have never seemed to get to them and shoot themselves or others, you know why? THEY'RE NOT IGNORANT!!! Michael Moore needs to end his biased rantings and look at both sides of an issue. Mr. Heston doesn't deserve anymore harassing. And I don't need my intelligence insulted anymore. But, I've already stated all this when we were talking about Bowling for Bias, I mean, Columbine. Hey, I know what we need, we don't need gun control, we need population control. Then maybe some of these ignorant asses that allow guns to be in plain sight for their most likely ignorant kids to get a hold of, wouldn't be around. Or maybe we could just shoot them, Hehehe, Servo
