I love this episode. It was the first season 1 episode I ever saw, and I think it's the first decent MST episode.
"No rats, not allowed." "Unless they're on the menu."
I like the segment with Gypsy in a hand costume.

Is it my imagination or is the Shadowrama actually GREEN on this episode?

Is it my imagination or is the Shadowrama actually GREEN on this episode? The shadowrama for this episode only appears black on televisions made in America.

I think it was one of the best for Season 1.

Is it my imagination or is the Shadowrama actually GREEN on this episode? There are a few in Season 1 that have greenish Shadowrama. Think they were playing about with it because of the movie being black and white. Not sure if the network had anything to do with it. Oh and it's a decent episode at best, many from KTMA are better than it.

One of my favorite Joel observations: "You see, that's what I'm talking about. You can tell it's a low budget movie because they can't wreck the cars."
I think the girl who played Patsy had serious charisma. What else has she done?

This one's okay. It's a step up from the last few episodes, but still not too great.
How lame is the "I'm smoking" running joke?

I'm generally not too keen on most KTMA and Season 1 episodes, and in my humble opinion this is definitely one of the weaker Season 1 episodes, in turn making it one of my 10 or so least favorite. My biggest problem with KTMA/S1 (and I'll admit, more than a couple of S2) MST is that the riffing is so detached and lethargic it puts me to sleep, and are generally comprised of what I call "Look, here comes this guy" riffs in which the guys are really only telling us what's going on in the movie as we watch it. I find this episode to be chock full of these complaints.
Course, it doesn't help matters that I find the movie equivalent to watching molasses drip for an hour and a half.

I love season 1, but this one really doesn't do it for me. It's campy and ridiculous, but it doesn't have the charm from the other season 1 eps.

It's good, but not one of the best. I liked Women of the Prehistoric Planet better, really, not to mention Robot Holocaust. It was the first season 1 episode I saw, though, since Rhino put it out before I found DAP.
